It in no coincidence that 99.9% of people on this earth are the religon they were raised to belive. If someone with a fanatical personality was born in america with super religous christians parents they will most likely be a fanatical christians. If that same person was raised in Afganistan by fantical muslims they would be a fanatical muslim. So why are they different? They both do ANYTHING asked by their religon and reject anything that does not agree with what they were taught. Is salvation location?

A fanatical person can be of any religious background. I believe that the problem with this group is NOT that they are Muslim. In truth, the Muslims that follow their religion are not much different than a Christian. The difference that I see in this group we are "fighting" is that they do not care whether they kill innocent men, women, and children, citizens of their country or ours, and whether they actually fight a WAR or JUST MURDER INNOCENTS. That is the difference that I have seen in this battle of "fanatics". I blame a couple of crazy people for causing most of this problem. GOD is the answer NOT the problem. Have a great holiday season.

I think a bad person is just a bad person period. To base it on a faith or religion is not going to justify why they are the way they are. If a person's upbringing is filled with hatred than that person will become evil. If a person's upbringing is filled with love then that is what that person will spread.

Killers, Psychos, Rapists, Molesters and down right sick people could have been any religion but they were bad people because they believed what they were doing was right. There is no faith that exists that believes in doing wrong to another for no reason.
All major religions (Christianity, Islam, Judaism) are about helping a person's soul to become closer to God. What they do outside that scope is their decision, not the religions.

The Muslims are known to be terrorists, set themselves on fire, are destructive, if you turn on the news you will see many other violent things going on, that are done by Muslims. Christians are praying for Peace, celebrating Christmas, and trying to help establish a Government that is not Dictatorial and that is the difference.

There is only a tiny remnant of true believers in the Lord Jesus Christ here on this earth. Most of the people who are going to heaven are already there. Out of all the people that you mention any one of them could believe and be saved. There would still only be a small number who truly do repent, and in contrition go to God for forgiveness, and then walk in his Spirit, which is salvation.

I find it interesting that you decided to compare a "fanatical Christian" to a Muslim and not a fanatical Muslim. Are people really that narrow minded?

I do not see where they are any different. It appears to me that most people adhere to the predominant religion in their location. All fanatics are a problem.

My kids and grandkids have little to do with religion, but my kids were taken to sunday school and church.

Fanatical Islam cuts people's throats, fanatical Christianity does no physical harm to anyone on the basis of religion.

>>> Religous people are products of their enviroment >>>

What are you basing this claim on?

Truth is, there are a lot of people who did not grow up in "religious" homes, or in "religious" families, but became converts to a given religion and now take it very seriously.

I meet lots of them at the Catholic parish I attend in Japan. I'm guessing at least half the adults in the parish are converts who did not grow up in a "religious" environment at all.

I agree with you.

I have no problem with admitting if I was born in India I would probably be a Hindu, or China a Buddhist. It's just fact.

hmmmmm well I am part of the 0.1% then!

Any proof on this 99.9% claim? Thats pretty high.....you are saying all athiests raised athiests, too??

Also, Christians are not held at gunpoint to claim faith, no matter what anyone says. Christians dont seek refugee status in other countries to escape their religion. Christians dont fly planes into buildings.

Yay me!
