I have no more than $50 and I don't know how many Shekelim that is. I want something that is truly israel not just something made there. I had the idea for a land of israel necklace--the kind with the sand from different places--but I'm not sure about that. I don't really want a T-shirt but I want something useful and/or pretty.

I don't follow a certain religion,but I do beleive in God.That's it.I try to just always do the right thing,not to be rewarded to go to heaven or because of fear of going to Hell,I was just raised to be a peaceful person.Does not following a cerain religion make me an atheist?Someone told me that being an atheist is just being absent of a religion,and that atheists don't always beleive there is a god?So what am I?

Most questions that are asked on here directed towards muslims were asked to Muhammad. God would then reveal the answer to Muhammad (pbuh) in the Qur'an. When asking about the muslim position, isnt it better that I give you the answer according to what Allah says, and not just my opinion?

Eg. They asked the Prophet about alcohol, and God revealed:

'They ask you (O Muhammad SAW) concerning alcoholic drink and gambling. Say: "In them is a great sin, and (some) benefit for men, but the sin of them is greater than their benefit." And they ask you what they ought to spend. Say: "That which is beyond your needs." Thus Allah makes clear to you His Laws in order that you may give thought." (Qur'an 2:219)

take a look at who is that God that Jesus used to worship by his Aramaic language, anyone disbelieve after this has to be very stubborn. type down the word God in this Aramaic-English dictionary.

History proves Jesus lived and was a human being, the question is if he was who he said he was. You can say you dont believe Jesus was the son of God but I mean saying you dont believe in him is like saying you dont believe that the year 1993 existed.

I recently seen a program on TV that talked about people haveing an after death experience, those people that were legally dead for like 4 minutes. Some of them say they have seen the pearly gates, that they have seen heaven. But according to there own religion it is a lie. It says in the bible at some point or another everyone will fall into a deep slepp until judgement day, then all will rise together into the land of heaven. Meaning that you cannot see heaven until everyone else thats going can see it. You all go together. So really, how religious are these people who claim to see heaven when they die? If the really do see anything, it is probally because their brain induses chemicals to make it appear as if they are going to heaven, so as to calm the passing. Just my opinion, what do you think?

There is a prophetic statement in Sahih Bukhary that tells us that prophet Muhammad said he was ordered to FIGHT all people until they submit to Islam and recognize his prophecy. He also said that this is the only way they can save their lives and money from him.

Does not that statement contradict what we hear about prophet Muhammad's tolerance and respect for other religions?

In each study you can clearly see a negative impact starting around the year 1962!

Teenage pregnancy rates have gone up 500% since 1962. Unmarried mothers have risen dramatically since 1962. The divorce Rate is so high that many young children don't really understand what a family is. Violent Crimes have risen steadily since the early 60's, and our prison system is bursting at the seams.

The SAT scores have steadily declined each year for 18 straight years since 1962 and continue to decline or be low. As the poorly educated enter the workforce how can our companies compete with other international industries?

I have a strong desire to live in the South......I absolutely LOVE it ,yet i have never been there before.I have the strongest desire to go there and live there,yet i live thousands of miles away.Is it possible i could of lived here before and been from the south and that is why i love it so much????

Answer: because they knew there would be no guaranteed way to record the events 2000+ years ago.

Of course, this is rediculous.

If such things actually happened TODAY, we'd have them on digital cameras, cell phones, YouTube, DVDs and every other recording medium known to man, and society would ensure their appearances were archived forever. The result...

There would be ZERO controversy. THE ENTIRE CONCEPT OF FAITH would be POINTLESS. THEISM would instantly become FACT.

So one must ask the question, why don't god or Jesus appear today and perform miracles, which we could easily record and broadcast around the world, thus allowing the entire world to see their power in one fell swoop? People would still get to CHOOSE their god (if they so desired.)

This, more than anything else, is proof that religion, ALL RELIGIONS, were just created by clever men as systems of control.

What has it ever done to further society? What has it done of value for everyone other than give us more reasons to hate one another? What real knowledge has it given us to make the world a better place? How is it even nearly as valuable as medicine, or science? Has it given us anything reliable to base our knowledge of the universe on?

Anything good that comes out of religion can also come from secular sources, however much of the evil and ignorance that we see as a result of religion is exclusive to a religious mindset.

So why should we give it any respect at all?

The Muslims do it, The Shiite, Sunnis, etc, Attacking eachother. Why isn't there any Christian in-fighting and slaughter? Such as Baptists attacking Evangelicals, Jehovah Witnesses and 7th Day Adventice fighting over who is right and wrong.
