Sure, God was angry and remorseful and enraged, but why destroy the animals and birds, too? What did they do wrong?

C'mon church people, tell us a little about your Old Testament God. He did collective punishment as distinct from individual punishment, plus he was about to kill the birds too. What's up with that?

If you don't know your Bible, read Genesis chapter six.

I think any animal that can save lives or call 911 or get the C-clamp to you so you can get your foot out of a bear trap should get into Heaven.

Yet Christians dont listen when the Jews tell them that the God of the Old Testament is not a trinity.

'Surely, they have disbelieved who say: "Allah is the Messiah ['Iesa (Jesus)], son of Maryam (Mary)." But the Messiah ['Iesa (Jesus)] said: "O Children of Israel! Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Verily, whosoever sets up partners in worship with Allah, then Allah has forbidden Paradise for him, and the Fire will be his abode. And for the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers) there are no helpers.' (Qur'an 5:72)

According to a study by Paul Bell, published in the Mensa Magazine in 2002, there seems to be an inverse correlation between intelligence and religious belief. Analyzing 43 studies carried out since 1927, Bell finds that all but four reported such a connection, concluding that "the higher one's intelligence or education level, the less one is likely to be religious or hold 'beliefs' of any kind." A survey published in Nature confirms that belief in a personal god or afterlife is at an all time low among the members of the National Academy of Science, only 7.0% of which believed in a personal god as compared to more than 85% of the US general population.

Like in the song 'Pardon Me' by Incubus:"Pardon me while I burst
Pardon me while I burst A decade ago, I never thought I would be.
A twenty three on the verge of spontaneous combustion. Woe-is-me But I guess that it comes with the territory. An ominous landscape of never-ending calamity. I need you to hear. I need you to see. That I have had all I can take And exploding seems like a definite possibility To me So Pardon me while I burst into flames.
I've had enough of the world, and its people's mindless games
So Pardon me while I burn, and rise above the flame Pardon me, pardon me. I'll never be the same. Not, two days ago I was having a look in a book And I saw a picture of a guy fried up above his knees I said I can relate Cause lately I've been thinking of combustication as a welcomed vacation from. The burdens of the planet earth, like gravity, hypocrisy, and the perils of being in 3-D...
And thinking so much differently. Pardon me while I burst"...Tell me how to do that.

You church people keep saying stuff like how did all this happen by itself, and then you imagine a God who happened all by itself. If you deny the existence of Supergod, I can only conclude you are in league with the atheists, and I find that utterly despicable...kind of.
By the way, SUPERGOD never had any temper tantrums like his little God in the Old Testement, cause he is always in control.

The arabic speaking Jews and Christians call God Allah. The Bible in Arabic refers to God as Allah. Jesus spoke aramaic (ask your priest), and God in aramaic is Allah. Are you telling me that the arab christians living in the Holy lands to do worship the same God as you?

'Verily, you will find the strongest among men in enmity to the believers (Muslims) the Jews and those who are Al-Mushrikun (see V.2:105), and you will find the nearest in love to the believers (Muslims) those who say: "We are Christians." That is because amongst them are priests and monks, and they are not proud.' (Qur'an 5:82)

Also, is it classed as a religion? I'm just curious to find out seeing as most people assume wrong things about most religions and so perhaps satanism is misunderstood also? Perhaps.

Would atheists and Christians be willing to copy the above question and ask it themselves? Those of us who would like to see such a truce could make it clear if more than one person asked the question.
