for those of you who say "why do you think he did": because he had to otherwise we wouldn't have them. if adam was the first man than evolution wouldn't happen because christians would be right.
for those of you who ask "why would you ask a stupid question": he was attempting to point out that god created something without a purpose, which i believe is a contradiction because god created everything with a purpose.
just another example of why creationism doesn't work.
