Would atheists and Christians be willing to copy the above question and ask it themselves? Those of us who would like to see such a truce could make it clear if more than one person asked the question.

The impromptu Holiday truce is a long standing tradition. It is exactly like the unofficial cease fires that occurred on Christmas during the American Civil War, World War I, and World War II. It is a time of year when traditionally even the most bitter enemies have enough respect to stop trying to kill each other for a few days.

You don't want it to go through Christmas? (That would end tonight.) I think you mean midnight the 26th...
Maybe most of the crappier people are away and busy.

Have you noticed the truce has already been broken by a guy eating a banana?

well it won't happen as christians and atheists have their own sets of beliefs and will argue over anything as someone from either side will ask a question that will upset the other side it's a nice gesture though i'm an agnostic by the way

As long as people try to explain or solve the world's problems with faith and superstitions instead of reason, religion will be given fuel. Science needs to advance much further, and then the flame of religion will burn out completely once and for all.
Peace is always the product of reason - never of faith.

Since I've never been at war with atheists, that's just fine by me. However, we are at war with the principalities of the air - and that war is never ceasing. Merry Christmas.

Why? This would be giving in to the Christians...it is, after all, their holiday. I would only be willing to do this if we atheists got the same in return on February 12, "Darwin Day"
