there is no where in the teachings of Jesus that we can forgive our own sins-one lie is a sin-one sin makes us a sinner-a sinner needs salvation-not good works to get rid of that sin!

Jesus said "Except you repent and be born again, you can not see the kingdom of heaven."

Revelation 1:1&319&20 Jesus speaking from heaven, was recorded saying "I love you, repent from your sins, Behold I stand at your heart door and knock if you let me in, I will deliver you from sins, and become your friend."

as a Jew I prayed and got truely saved-now Jesus is my Messiah and best friend-you may argue your earning your way to heaven-well -your doing it by calling Jesus a liar

Jesus said "The one that rejects my words, hath one that shall judge them in the last day, the words that I have spoken." John 12:48

I have an experience my sins taken away-he did have me go and appologize and return money I had justified in taking-I was underpaid -my younger brother was paid more-but it was still sin

You know the stale rice thins they hand out. Do you think when the priest is hungry he just munches on a few boxes of those things. Maybe he even brings some dip along too.

Just wondering, since a lot of Christians seem to think they know all about the bible and stuff. This should be an easy one for them, don't you think?

Even I know and I'm a non believer.

I see christians regularly drunk rarely attending church and always ripping people off and being two faced in the name of jesus, I hate christianity it doesnt make people accountable for there actions cause in their cult you can say "im sorry" to an imaginary man and be forgiven

As a Christian, I shouldn't think this way. But there were times I really questioned the existence of God, especially when going through unbearably tough times. At the time, I felt like if there was indeed a God, He wouldn't let me go through severe depression and lust problem. I also felt like if indeed God is out there, many innocent people wouldn't suffer or die by the hands of evil people.
Now I believe in heart that God exists. I believe He exists, is watching every good & bad things going on around the world, and will show humankind how precioius, amazing life can be through trials and errors.
To all the Christians here, what is the sure sign that God exists? How can you really believe in Him without being able to actually communicate in voice or seeing Him in person?
Thanks in advance for any insights.

Does Jesus get angry that people ignore his real birthday in order to celebrate it at another time for the sake of tradition?

Did you know there are over 120,000 innocent, dead Iraqi civilians and over 4,000. dead American soldiers. For what? The only thing I see out of this war is justification and reason for terrorists to hate the United States.

Mohamad married Aisha at 6 years old, and began having sex with her at 9 years old-he was 40. as children mature faster today she would be about 6-7 in that day-he says an angel told him to do it-Jesus says even if what appears to be an angel tells you something against the bible-do not believe it-Jesus said one man for one woman, and to repent and be born again.

Jesus taught to love even your enemies, not to lust little children.

Isaiah prophecied the Messiah would die for our sins
and Jewish people even though most of my people reject our Messiah, they cant change the words of the scriptures =revelation 1:1,3:19&20 spoken from heaven-that Jesus loves us asks us to repent and let him into our heart to help us and be our friend." and 19-22nd chapters which teach about hell torment forever-for rejecting salvation and the joy of heaven, and the last chapter of the bible there-says if you add to the word you will get curses=the Koran.
Isaiah 53 "He will lay down his life for sin."

I'm putting a scripture verse in handmade Christmas cards that I'll be delivering tonight, but I'm stuck on what verse I should use. What are some of your favorites? I'd love to find one that's short and sweet, but really shows someone Gods love and plan. I'm delivering them to strangers in the neighborhood and I'd like to leave everyone with a verse that may shape their lives in some way. Thanks for your help!
