I use the New World Translation simply because it uses modern english and is easier to understand.

What does the Bible say about homosexuality?
Romans 1:24-27: “God, in keeping with the desires of their hearts, gave them up to uncleanness, that their bodies might be dishonored among them…God gave them up to disgraceful sexual appetites, for both their females changed the natural use of themselves into one contrary to nature; and likewise even the males left the natural use of the female and became violently inflamed in their lust toward one another, males with males, working with what is obscene and receiving in themselves the full recompense, which was due for their error.”
These verses clearly stated how Jehovah God said that homosexuality was obscene (not appropriate; not approved of). Also, the verses said how judgment was given to such ones who engaged in this conduct.
Jude 7: “So too Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities about them, after they in the same manner as the foregoing ones had committed fornication excessively and gone out after flesh for unnatural use, are placed before [us] as a [warning] example by undergoing the judicial punishment of everlasting fire.”
The criminal act of sodomy originated from the term “Sodom,” which usually designates a homosexual practice.
Genesis 19:24, 25: “Then Jehovah made it rain sulphur and fire from Jehovah, from the heavens, upon Sodom and Gomorrah. So he went ahead overthrowing these cities, even the entire District and all the inhabitants of the cities and the plants of the ground.”
Jehovah God did not just have it simply rain. It rained fire and sulphur. If you are familiar with sulphur rock, it has a foul odor to it. In fact, you cannot take it after while. The fire and sulphur represented the extent to which Jehovah detests homosexuality. A city reduced to rubble.
Is the Bible’s teaching regarding sex perhaps old-fashioned and needlessly restrictive? I will let the Bible tell you the answer. By letting the Bible answer these questions, I am in peace with Jehovah God because I am not stumbling others with possibly misleading opinionated answers.
1 Thessalonians 4:3-8 in part says, “This is what God wills…that you abstain from fornication…So, then the man that shows disregard is disregarding, not man, but God, who puts his holy spirit in you.” In other words, those who go against these scriptures is fighting against Jehovah God, which is a fight you have no chance of prevailing. You will surely tumble.
Those who apply this counsel safeguard themselves against the deep emotional scars and loathsome diseases that go with immoral conduct. The Bible’s counsel is very much up to date in meeting the needs of those who want a clean conscience before God and a life free from needless frustration.
I hope that the scriptures above answered your question. I wanted to provide multiple scriptures rather than just list scriptures that condemn homosexuality.

So many disciples, so many prophets, so many WORDS written decades after Jesus, so many contradictions--what validity would anything have, that was recorded in a book like this? The whole history of Christianity is rife with conflicting views. Wish everyone had seen CNN's "After Jesus, The First Christians."
