I'm putting a scripture verse in handmade Christmas cards that I'll be delivering tonight, but I'm stuck on what verse I should use. What are some of your favorites? I'd love to find one that's short and sweet, but really shows someone Gods love and plan. I'm delivering them to strangers in the neighborhood and I'd like to leave everyone with a verse that may shape their lives in some way. Thanks for your help!

How about the standard bearer of good tidings? Such as:

"Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. " --Luke 2:14.

Peace be with you.

Here's one that's short but may help:
"How priceless is your unfailing love, O God! People take refuge in the shadow of your wings." Psalm 36:7

"The LORD sent me to anoint thee to be king over his people, over Israel: now therefore hearken thou unto the voice of the words of the LORD. Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt. Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ***."-1:Samuel 15:1-3
God orders the slaying of infants, so it's full of Christian fun
