I beleive that a child can express their opinion as long as they are respectfull and not screaming , yelling, stomping their feet, that is grounds for a stern "go to your room" If we do not allow kids to express themselves, they will not thrive socially. Just be patient with the child and do not yell at them if they are trying to relate something to you in a normal speaking voice.

I think children should only be heard if they behave themselves. So many kids just scream and shout and it always annoys me because my parents would never have let me throw tantrums in public. Most parents don't seem to care though, they just let their kids run wild.

Why not?? CHildren are the most honest and all that comes out are straightforward, no hold bars answers... they don't know how to filter and make things tactful, that's why we must listen to them and improve from there
