People are at their most ignorant today than ever in history. It's funny how the more educated people get the more arrogant and stupid they get when it comes to the ways of God. They will find out in the end (when it's too late) that their ways were wrong. Man's brain is so swollen with education and stupid knowledge (nothing wrong with education but when it replaces and questions God, that;s another story) that he is incapable of understanding that there is a God and and actually believes humans are like animals rather than God's highest creation.

I think Christ has better things to do than worry about how many people follow him. God too. That's why they gave us free will. Besides, wasn't the 'Second Coming' suppose to have happened in 1000 BCE? Oh, wait, it didn't.

Oh, but that's right, the date was pushed back until 2000 BCE. Well, guess that didn't pan out either.

Simply put, the world isn't going to end until the Sun dies and engulfs this planet in fire in another 5 billion years, so STOP WORRYING ABOUT THE END OF THE WORLD!

You have to be kidding. The best reason for not being a Christian or Muslim or a Jew is safety. Without these pernicious religions, those of us left behind will find ourselves in Eden again.
Christians ask atheists, "What if you are wrong?" The answer is simple, God will sweep up the blood thirsty religious bigots and leave us alone. THEN we atheists will believe and then we will say, "Thank God!"

If you think that God is for real you wouldn't do the things that you do. You love sin more than God and so un less you repent and trust Jesus to take away your sins, you will die and go to hell. Following Christ is an adventure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Many people choose their religious beliefs because they just feel right to them, not because they are scared into them. I personally believe in doing the right thing because it's the right thing, not because someone is dangling a cookie in front of my face. It doesn't make you a "good" person if you're good only so that you can get a reward for yourself.

Maybe b/c they feel they found the Truth. Like that God needs no son, wife, etc., b/c that's idolatry. How are you so holy to think that your way is the only way. Islam tells us that it is on intentions, belief in God Almighty and His Holy bookS, and purity that you find your way to Heaven.

A question such as yours can't be answered in a generality. Maybe you should ask someone you feel has turned away and let us know what they say.
