I would take it down myself, religious garbage like that shouldnt be in public. You wanna hang up garbage like that, do it in your own house not where i can see it. I think it should be banned. I just read about that BA Airlines employee who had to take off her cross necklace, GOOD. If it was my airline, no one would be allowed to wear any religious trash like that, it would be banned as long as i'm ruling.

most christians and non-muslims tell me that the problem with islam is that half of the muslims keep saying that its a religion of peace and then you see these guys blowing themselves up in the middle east.
but even when i try to explain that they are not true muslims, they tell me that i'm also responsible because i'm one of the apologetic muslims who make up excuses for islam but never do anything.

but is there something i could do? if so what?? even the people who condemn the actions of muslims in those countries, are they doing something except disrespecting islam?

i want an honest answer please dont answer if you are only going to make disrespectful remarks. thank you.

Is it truly who you are? Or is it a vehicle, a "spacesuit" if you will, so that you may explore this physical reality?

The First Amendment To The U.S. Constitution:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof . . ."

the First Amendment says religion will not affect lawmaking, but yet it does because Christians are the ones that say gay marriage is wrong, but what about the other people. They don't take into consideration that its praised in other cultures and they assume it's wrong everywhere.

Why can't people see this?

"I like your Christ. I do not like your christians. Your christians are so unlike your christ." -Ghandi

Do you find that christians on R&S who spew hateful things like "you're going to bust hell wide open"(and variants thereof) actually do not behave at all like their Christ? Not once did Jesus ever tell a "sinner" anything like that. He saved his anger for those who were religious hypocrites.

Carbon-14 is a radioactive element that breaks down to caron-12. Carbon-14 is in the atmosphere along with carbon-12 in carbon dioxide molecules. Carbon-14 has a half life of 5,700, meaning that in 5,700 years, half the carbon-14 found in a sample would have broken down to carbon-12, half of the remaining would break down in another 5,700 years, and so forth. The way you date an organic sample, is compare the amount of carbon-14 to that of carbon-12, and you can tell the age of what is being tested. This is good for anything less than 50,000 years old, because after that, there wouldn't be measurable amounts of carbon-14 left.

In school, I was taught that it takes millions of years for coal to form. What I was never taught, there has never been a coal field discovered that didn't have measurable amounts of carbon-14.

The only way that this could be possible, the coal fields are thousands of years old, not millions. Any rebuttals from our Atheist brothers and sisters?

A Christian beleives God is a cosmic force and beleives the force's main way of creating is information. He beleives that jesus was the son of God,...yes, but he defines it in the following:

since the cosmic force is information and infinite wisdom....for a man to know the 'infinite wisdom' so fundamentally, means he understands the concept so well that he becomes the concept, in this instance, God...Therefore jesus is God, but he is jesus and not God at the same time...

because in understanding the 'infinite wisdom' so well...he becomes God, but he is not God, by the fact that he is human...

The christian also beleives that heaven exists, but defines it thus:

before you die, time elongates so that it seems like infinity to the person...and in this perceived infinity he experiences bliss.....the same goes if he was bad.

After all....time is only a matter of perception and relative, correct?
at the same time, he beleives evolution is part of the cosmic force and that its a

I heard this song on the Christian radio station the other day, but I'm having a little difficulty finding out more about it. I think it kept repeating the phrase "one king" and was sung by a men's group (maybe 4 to 8 singers), with a reference to the Three Wise Men and also Jesus Christ as the King. I thought I found it on a Christian lyrics site, but then it didn't seem to be the same. Is anyone familiar with a song like this ?

beat his wife?

"Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allah has given the one more (strength) than the other, and because they support them from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient, and guard in (the husband's) absence what Allah would have them guard. As to those women on whom part you fear disloyalty and ill conduct, admonish them (first), (next), refuse to share their beds, (and last) beat them (lightly); but if they return to obedience, seek not against them means (of annoyance) for Allah is Most High, Great (above you all). I’ve prayed to myself many times and my prayers are ALWAYS answered.

I promise I will always answer your prayers. Sometimes I’ll answer, “Yes”, sometimes, “No” and other times “Wait.”

So just pray, “Our abominable Lord Grim Jack, show me the money!!!” and see what happens. I promise you’ll be blessed.

I understand that you believe in the whole concept of hell. And that's ok, to each his own.

The only problem is, to me it feels like this:
You invent a God, that invented God creates a "hell" where people like me will burn forever and ever. After you invent that whole story, you warn me that I will burn forever and ever in your invented hell, because I'm a worse person than you are.

I'm not scared of it, simply because to me it's imaginary silliness.

Again, I understand you believe in all that as your truth. All fine. But can you at least understand it feels like an insult to me?

And can you at least understand that if you would stop mentioning "hell", the world would be a little more peacefull ?

It's about a day from the True Winter Solstice which was celebrated by Pagans for a millenia, the Christians replaced it, like they did Easter with a fabricated excuse to celebrate Jesus.
So, why is it that Christians keep insisting they have dibbs on Christmas celebration when they know for a fact his "birthday" (which is an odd thing to celebrate for a dead savior anyway) isn't even on that date?
It's all human tradition more than anything, get over yourselves.
