Knowing something and not doing it is worst than not knowing.
If I know that the house next door is catching fire and do not warn my neighbors and try to save them. I would be charged in the court. But if I do not know anything about it, I can not be charged for any guilt.

Not knowing.
It is better to know the worst case scenario than not.
At the very least, you can patch together a last minute plan.

knowing. I used to prefer to not know because I only thought of the negative that came with knowing. When I saw that knowing gave me a bigger slice of life, I decided to focus on the good of knowing and not the bad.

well if you dont know whatever it is you're supposed to know and if not knowing will hurt you then of course its not knowing that is worst. and if its knowing that will hurt you and not knowing that will keep you at peace i rather not know.

It depends on the situation and the ability of the person to handle certain things. "my boyfriend is having an affair..." would be a 'need-to-know' basis and would depend on the relationship. "I have cancer..." would definitely be a have to know. "my cat got run over but my mom said it ran away..." don't need to know.
Make your choices wisely as to the type of circumstance you place yourself in.
