I would take it down myself, religious garbage like that shouldnt be in public. You wanna hang up garbage like that, do it in your own house not where i can see it. I think it should be banned. I just read about that BA Airlines employee who had to take off her cross necklace, GOOD. If it was my airline, no one would be allowed to wear any religious trash like that, it would be banned as long as i'm ruling.

As for you see a cross in a public place.. Don't look at it. Someone owns the the wall (or whatever it was on) that is was on so there for they have a right to put what they want on it. FREEDOM OF RELIGION.. You are entitled to NOT believe as people are entitled TO believe. Are you saying your rights are a head of others? If so then shame on you and you need to learn the word tolerance, and then learn the word acceptance.
As for "religious trash" as you put it, anyone should be allowed to wear anything they want. Back to our Freedom of Religion. If it was so disturbing they should have just asked her to tuck it into her shirt. Not remove it.
How will you feel when your wearing something and someday someone comes to you and they are offended by it as you are so offended by religion that they make you remove it?
Also what scares you so much about "religious trash" that you so violently feel the need to make such a hate filled post.

BA is a private company so they can make the rules. If they wanted every employee to wear green facepaint they would have to or they would get fired. If they didn't like it they can go to a different job.
Public buildings shouldn't allow religious ornaments as there should be a separation between religion and the state.
As long as it isn't too obtrusive I personally don't care though. It doesn't affect me and I'm an athiest.

I am not clear, are you anti christian or an athiest? All your Q's seem to point to the former. Religion or lack of it is such a personal thing that, I suggest that you keep your opinions to yourself. When you are in a postion and have the power to do something, then do speak and act, otherwise you seem to be a person who has maybe lot of frustations and have met with many setbacks in life, and this is the only way for you to vent them, maybe you have been a failure in everything you have tried?

I'll leave it alone as I left your nonsense ranting alone.
The unfortunate truth is that whatever you say and do against religion, God still loves you. You see, there no way you can win. You're always on the losing side.
But if you want to know the unforgivable sin read the Bible from the old to the new testament and I'll guarantee you 100% that you'll find it. I could tell you right now but that's no fun.

Why not try it on a church showing the cross to all passersby? Start tomorrow and I will watch if you can make the step. You are not only brave here on the net I hope. I do not like the cross honestly but do not have the guts to do what you have in mind.

I wouldn't do anything. I really wouldn't care. We live in a free society and we have to be tolerant towards other cultures. I think that nothings wrong with saying merry christmas or happy hunnakah, or happy quanza, whatever. Why would you get offended. Taking down christmas trees, aren't we going overboard. I'm a christian and I wouldn't care if muslims put up a muslim symbol or if jewish people put up a jewish symbol. Who cares. So what. It's called freedom.

In the United States Constitution we have freedom of speech. This includes our jewelry and other items of dress. Although I don't agree with everything I see other wearing, I believe we are entitled to wear what we wish, within reason. For instance, in public schools kids cannot wear clothing that advertises illegal substances (for kids), such as "Coors Beer". I'm glad I have these freedoms, including the one which allowed you to pose the question.

Mostly I would not be really worried about it. The reality of what is happening is that the Christians demanded all religious symbols be removed and were shocked to find out that their symbols were included as well. Well no symbols for any religion is good.
