Just think about it, before you all lose it and go mental. In the world, broadly speaking (especially before international travel was commonplace and immigration\emmigration so frequent) over here we have Christians, over there Sikhs, Buddhists in one part of the world, Muslims in another, and countles other faiths. A few hundred years ago, before mixing up of the geographical boundaries, the polarisation was even more pronounced. If you are 2 year old growing up in Bhagdad you will be Muslim. The exact same 2 year old, brought up in a christian family in Britain or USA will be a christian. This is why the tradition of religion is handed down from generation to generation.

People are told to believe something from birth, and never use their own minds and common sense to determine if what they are told is true.
It really makes me angry that people act like sheep with no brains.
The things they are told breed racism, intolerance & discrimination.
The world would be a better place if we all decided for ourselves what we believed in by using logical reasoning, instead of being brainless little sheep.

Did you know that hospitals, as we know them today, were first established by early Muslims. They offered the best available medical service at that time and cared for all people free of charge. Muslims are honour-bound to provide treatment for the sick, whoever they may be.

The first organised hospital was built in Cairo in 872CE. The Ahmad ibn Tûlûn Hospital treated and gave free medicine to all patients. It provided separate bath houses for men and women, a rich library and a section for the insane.

Patients deposited their street clothes with the hospital authorities for safe keeping, before donning special ward clothes and being assigned to their beds. Each patient would also have his or her own medical record.

Hospitals like these flourished as Muslim rulers competed to see who could construct the most dvanced centres. They spread all over the Muslim world reaching Sicily and North Africa. The earliest Muslim hospitals were funded by charitable religious endowments, called waqf, and some money from the state coffers was also used to maintain some hospitals.

Please give me solid evidence there is no God. Don't twist this into me having to give you evidence. It is time to hear a solid arguement defending Atheism.

You're so upset with humanity, but it's unnecessary. You might as well blame yourself for not being born in the future.

There is a prophetic statement (Hadith) in Sahih Bukhary that tells that prophet Muhammed used to have sex with all his women (9 wives + 2 concubines) every night. The statement mention that he used to take an hour to finish the job with all the women.

I thought that prophet Muhammed was more concerned about preaching his religion and spreading peace and love on earth.

How come he have sex every night with 11 women and he can also preach his religion?

Don't plants have life too? Eating plants is killing life. One cannot make exceptions for animals and not plants. If animals can "feel", then so can plants.

"And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven." Matthew 23:9

Their priests are called Father.

"..in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving" 1st Timothy 4:1-4

The priest is not supposed to marry and they can't eat meat on Fridays.

According to this verse, they have departed from the faith.

If there is nothing truely spiritual, mysterious, and divine about the universe, and mankind is truely soul-less and alone, how do you explain the fact that every culture man has founded has made religion part of that experience? Why has there never been an atheist culture?

If you're inclined to say that cultures before did not have science to rely upon, I would suggest to you that science and religion do not fulfill the same purpose, and most of history's great scientists were religious.

Does anyone honestly believe that we are moral because our God's ask us to be? Let me take an few examples from the Bible. A man gathering sticks on the Sabbath - stoned to death! A warrior who made contract with God - his only daughter burnt in God's honour, as agreed with God! Both are Old Testament stories. What sort of morals should we derive from these terrible examples? And, if Christians say we should not draw from these particular examples, then why do they pick and choose what they decide to abide and what they decide to abhor?

I was a Lt. Col. during WW2 in Army intelligence. I was stationed in Germany during and at the termination of the war. My job was to interrigate German officers and at times soldiers for general information. I one day received orders to move up to the front lines because the American troops had uncovered something that was most unusual as well as horrifying. Upon arrival at the command post I was taken to a camp that contained several thousand emaciated men. I was shown around the camp and saw to my horror ovens where bodies were burned (many still had bodies within the ovens), piles of bones, filthy, smelly barracks, sick and dying men. Nothing to eat. Nothing to drink. This was one of the most famous Concentration camps in Germany. No one in Germany claimed to know anything about "death camps". No one was a Nazi. 6 million Jews were killed by the Nazis and I saw where it happened. Do you want to deny the existence of these camps and the extermination of Jews, Poles, Russians?
