Just think about it, before you all lose it and go mental. In the world, broadly speaking (especially before international travel was commonplace and immigration\emmigration so frequent) over here we have Christians, over there Sikhs, Buddhists in one part of the world, Muslims in another, and countles other faiths. A few hundred years ago, before mixing up of the geographical boundaries, the polarisation was even more pronounced. If you are 2 year old growing up in Bhagdad you will be Muslim. The exact same 2 year old, brought up in a christian family in Britain or USA will be a christian. This is why the tradition of religion is handed down from generation to generation.
