People are told to believe something from birth, and never use their own minds and common sense to determine if what they are told is true.
It really makes me angry that people act like sheep with no brains.
The things they are told breed racism, intolerance & discrimination.
The world would be a better place if we all decided for ourselves what we believed in by using logical reasoning, instead of being brainless little sheep.

BacaBabyMomma, I'm sorrry but I cannot respect your faith, science has proven that God did not create earth or humans.
Science has proven that Heaven does not lie above the clouds. So where is it? Oh, it must be somewhere else... and when we prove it isn't there either, oh, it must be somewhere else.
People just flat out reject the idea of evolution even though it has scientific evidence to back it up, because they don't want to admit they were fooled into believing in God.

Speak for yourself.

I was raised Catholic. I didn't like it. I researched becoming Jewish.....went to temple, read books, talked to Jews.

I took a course in college about Buddism and Hinduism, and found some of it facsinating.

I studying and read up on New Orleans Voodooism, and continue to do so, as this is what I have chosen to practice. FOR ME, AFTER RESEARCH. I would hardly call that a "brainless sheep". People who judge others are the "brainless" ones.

I'm sorry, but who are you to judge whether people have "used their own minds" to decide what they want to believe?

You need to understand respect for the beliefs of others. There are people who disagree with you that all religions are false. You seem to think that since YOU believe all religions are false, they are. I can't begin to tell you how totally full of yourself you sound!

The world would truly be a better place if people like you stopped trying to be the final authority on what people decide to believe or not believe. You act like you're the only person using your brain and the rest of us need to be reminded to use ours.

My guess is that you are a really annoying person to know.

This is getting very interesting. Are you telling us that in Australia, you use a different alphabet, that obviously doesn't use "dumbass" Z's? And YOU'RE the final authority on whether God exists or not? Thank you - I needed a good laugh...

True, the things they are told breed racism, intolerance, and discrimination. But, on the other hand, they're told that there is a penalty for being bad. Imagine how many more of the brainless sheep would be bad guys if they didn't have the picture of being chucked into a lake of fire posthumously, dangling like a Damoclean sword above their heads.

Neither here nor there. Think. Then go to wikipedia, and read the article on "Pascal's Wager." I'd recommend it to every atheist and agnostic. After you've read it, you can still be an atheist or agnostic, but at least you'll be an informed thinking one. LOL.

Oh yes, i believed everything my parents taught me, and I wander aimlessly about looking for someone to follow.

When I find a sheep WITH a brain, I love to ask him what I should do, because it makes me feel so much better about myself.

I used my brain, researched very heavily and came to my decision on religion. Im sure you did the same thing when you decided not to believe.
I would like to believe my life has meaning and purpose, and that there is something beautiful waiting for me after death. I would like to believe in a God of love who cares for me, and who sent someone to die on my behalf.

Please - Just as I do not critisize you for not believing, do not call me a fool for having faith.

Sweetie, Again, please do not call me a fool for believing. Also, you should do some research on these so called "facts" you are claiming have been proven. Im not even going to waste my time answering them, because its obvious no one respects your opinion at this point.

Honey I believe you are brainless for worshiping yourself! There could never be someone higher than you? I will never be tolerant about homosexuality or abortion, just because society tells me to ! You see my dear you are the little sheep following the media and the politically correct, because they keep pushing their agenda on you without you even realizing it. jThink for yourself. Just because you hear something day after day and see it on tv and at the movies does not mean it is true!!!

Personally?
I don't think you have the right to tell people what to think or realize.
After all, people have their own opinions, and you do too.
In fact, if people didn't believe in religion, wouldn't people act like sheep with no brains?
They'd all think the same thing.
Religions are false.
Religions are false.

You seem to have all the answers. Should we simply elect you God?

Seriously, Isn't it a bit arogant to think that you can actually say all religions are false. Especially given that you are finite.
