Some time ago, at Idul Fitr, my Muslim neighbours sent their son over to my house with a small gift. Some nice sweet Turkish cake. Now, I wish to respond to that guesture by bringing something to their house at Christmas Eve.
Any suggestions?

I am muslim and I have recieved some nice Christmas gifts from my Christian friends in the past few years also. I think an edible gift is probably a good idea because your neighbours can enjoy it with their whole family. Since it is Christmas, maybe give them a Christmas themed dessert, like fruitcake, or home made gingerbread cookies, I think they will really appreciate that. =)

How nice of both u n ur neighbors. Since they gave u a gift on Eid then it is perfectly fine to give them a Christmas gift. I would suggest a sweet too, to b on the safe side. Nothing made with gelatin or lard. I know almonds and pistachios r some favorite nuts. Figs r generally well liked too. When u take it to them I would let them know that it is "Halal" which means "kosher" so they will know that u r aware that their r certain things they don't eat. This way they will b assured.

That's very sweet of you. I would give them a gift that was similar to what they gave you. Sweets are always a favorite with everyone. Just make sure the sweets don't contain gelatin or any alcohol. How nice of you to think of your neighbors.

flowers,choclates just plain ones cadbury or even turtules,candles vanilla or any flower fragrance ones or any,kitchen set oven mitts or apron tray or trolley cover tea cozy any kitchen linnen,nice water pitcher,big ladle spoon set,salad pltter list goes on for vriety of price gifts low to high or even an egg pudding carmel

I'm not sure how well Christmas cookies would go over. I'd suggest a pumpkin, or pecan pie, instead. Also, you might take over some candy - fudge, rocky road, or assorted chocolates. Maybe not candy canes, but something peppermint flavored.
Okay maybe not Rocky Road. I didn't know about the gelatin thing.
