There are no contradictions in the bible since its God word. It would be pointless to bring up apparent contradictions just to prove them to be false. But here is one.
The one about the earth being flat, is not true. When Jesus makes his return all will see him. The four corners of the Earth, you have to realize Jerusalem is the center of God's universe, and everything is in reference to that.

None one can, Ignore the best answer and those who claim there are,Bible difficulties, or apparent Bible contradictions, exist. The opponents of Christianity often use them in their attempts to discredit Christianity. Sometimes these attacks undermine the faith of Christians who either don't understand the issues or don't have the resources to deal with them.

Opponents of Christianity will cite what they consider a Bible contradiction or difficulty by comparing one verse to another (or more) that seems to disagree with the first. In doing this, several verses are often referenced as being contradictory or problematic. Therefore, to make this section of CARM easy to use, it is arranged by verse for easy lookup. Since many of the same "difficulties" deal with one verse in opposition to another or even several others, I have listed all the verses addressed in the same answer. This makes the initial list look larger than it really is. For example, how many animals did Noah bring into the ark? Genesis 6:19-20 says two while Gen. 7:2-3 mentions seven. Therefore, both verses are listed and both links point to the same answer.

If we read the Bible at face value, without a preconceived bias for finding errors, we will find it to be a coherent, consistent, and relatively easy-to-understand book. Yes, there are difficult passages. Yes, there are verses that appear to contradict each other. We must remember that the Bible was written by approximately 40 different authors over a period of around 1500 years. Each writer wrote with a different style, from a different perspective, to a different audience, for a different purpose. We should expect some minor differences. However, a difference is not a contradiction. It is only an error if there is absolutely no conceivable way the verses or passages can be reconciled. Even if an answer is not available right now, that does not mean an answer does not exist. Many have found a supposed error in the Bible in relation to history or geography only to find out that the Bible is correct once further archaeological evidence is discovered.

Blessings Myaloo, I'm not quite sure what your asking, but yesterday I answered a simular question, hope it helps you.

If they want to see contradiction in the Bible,

GE 1:31 God was pleased with his creation.
GE 6:5-6 God was not pleased with his creation.

Miss C.: GE 1:31 this was on the sixth day of creation before Adam and Eve disobeyed him and ate of the Tree of Good and Evil.
Miss C.: GE 6:5-6 this was after the world was populated and evil was rampant.

GE 2:15-17, 3:4-6 It is wrong to want to be able to tell good from evil.
Miss C.: If Adam and Eve had never eaten of the Tree of good and evil, evil wouldn't be amongst us now - so basically it was wrong.

HE 5:13-14 It is immature to be unable to tell good from evil.
Miss C.: Paul is speaking of the privilege of being a mature Christian and how one that is in this position should be teaching and not needing to be taught themselves the difference between right and wrong.

GE 6:19-22, 7:8-9, 7:14-16 Two of each kind are to be taken, and are taken, aboard Noah's Ark.
GE 7:2-5 Seven pairs of some kinds are to be taken (and are taken) aboard the Ark.
Miss C.: Two of each gender (male and female) seven of each so if a few died the species would still be able to mate.

My Dearest Brother, these are not contradictions of the scriptures - please use your knowledge to lead, not to mislead.
God Bless You

Those who say that there are contradictions are really saying that God is a liar. How can that be the case when he is Almighty? Perhaps, if you were going to state this type of question, why not write out some examples of where you though there might be a contradiction. In the meantime, here are two scriptures that can put his question to rest.

2 Timothy 3:16, 17 says, "All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, [v17] that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work."

and...

Hebrews 6:18 says, "in order that, through two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to the refuge may have strong encouragement to lay hold on the hope set before us."

Sometimes, there you have to read other scriptures that coincide to understand the main point. Not all scriptures are clear cut, which is where people run into problems and in turn, make up their own rules.

Surely God does not contradict Himself. Does He? You mean, the Bible, the word of God contains contradictions? Impossible!

Let's start with the garden of Eden. Adam and Eve, two beautiful and perfect human beings, the best that God could make, were actually unruly? Did He make them that way, or they got that way from being bored? You know how it is when you don't have a job and everything is given to you? You get a bit spoiled.

When looking at the table you find the finding to be biased. The monkey trials were eventually thrown out do to lack of evidence against biblical teaching. In fact you can still have bible classes in school as long as it is seperate from the rest of the class.

Of course there are. It is a book put together by men. Men are flawed and make mistakes. Mistranslations and so on abound. Not only that but concepts do not readily translate. What is okay for a Pashti is not okay with an Inca.

There are many contractions because of how the Bible was formed. The HB/OT originated from various oral traditions passed down for generations before it was even written down. There are about 4 different oral traditions that are woven together to create the HB/OT cannon that is known today. This is why there are some contradictions. (This is why humans are created twice in Genesis.) Many authors contributed to the Bible, and a lot of redacting occurred over the years. Also, all of the original copies were done by hand, so there could be errors in reproduction. There are also the translation problems from Hebrew, to Greek, to Latin, to many other languages. When the Gospels were written, they were copied by hand, and various congregations only had one or two and few letters by Paul The Q document hasn't been discovered either. Also, the Gospels (especially the one attributed to John) vary because they were all written with many years between them a few decades after Jesus died.
