I was a Lt. Col. during WW2 in Army intelligence. I was stationed in Germany during and at the termination of the war. My job was to interrigate German officers and at times soldiers for general information. I one day received orders to move up to the front lines because the American troops had uncovered something that was most unusual as well as horrifying. Upon arrival at the command post I was taken to a camp that contained several thousand emaciated men. I was shown around the camp and saw to my horror ovens where bodies were burned (many still had bodies within the ovens), piles of bones, filthy, smelly barracks, sick and dying men. Nothing to eat. Nothing to drink. This was one of the most famous Concentration camps in Germany. No one in Germany claimed to know anything about "death camps". No one was a Nazi. 6 million Jews were killed by the Nazis and I saw where it happened. Do you want to deny the existence of these camps and the extermination of Jews, Poles, Russians?

OH it was VERY REAL. I have been to Germany over 17 times and been to Buchenwald and Aushwitz. I can still smell the burnt bodies from the crematories. If you listen to the silence in the place you can hear their dispair.

It is people like the new Iranian leader who is so Anti Semetic ( I am not a Jew or Christian, but I beleive in faith) they would like to use Hitlers regime as a way like the Baath party and Hussein did.

Our own CIA taught torture techniqies of the Nazis to Iranians before they were our enemies in the days of the Shah.

Anyone crazy enough to disbeleive needs to see a concentration camp with their own two eyes and nose to know it was real. It was not just Jews that dies, it was Poles, Russians, anyone they felt politcally opposing, even Americans and Britains were at buchenwald.

People like that who spread lies about history to distort it for their use are nothing more than either manipulators or very ignorant.

There is more than ample evidence to convince any reasonable person that the Holocaust did indeed occur. What the Nazis did in the concentration camps went way beyond the usual horrors of war. It was the worst kind of inhumanity man has shown himself capable of heaping upon his fellow man.

That said, I believe it is dangerous to actually make it illegal to express a disbelief in the Holocaust. Abridging freedom of expression is not something that any free people should do. Unpopular speech must be protected. Certainly, if someone is slandered or libeled, they can seek redress through the courts.

Wow, what an experience. It must have been very difficult to see these things in person.

It's a sad history and undeniable. On TV (Usa) the other day, they showed a documentary filmed in Germany of records by the Nazis. These records have been kept from the public until now. They included a record of the Jewish girl Anne Frank.

I personally know of some who sat in these camps for their faith as Christian Witnesses of Jehovah. They were sent there for their refusal to support Hitler.

My sister still has letters from family members that decided to stay in Germany, they just vanished, never heard of again. Another relation still had the numbers stamped on her arm to the day she died. I flated with a women who was married to a Nazi in Aussie, she showed many pictures. He is dead now. It was not just Jews that died, it was mostly any one who had an different view and voiced it too loud.

A sad unfortunate reality. No rational person denies that the Holocaust happened.

The dingbats that keep trying to call the Holocaust a HOAX don't even believe it DIDN'T happen! It's just a load of bullsh*t that they use to legitimize hating Jews.
