Irreligious people groups have so manipulated and mocked things that they have falsely convinced some mentally immature Christians that they are smarter or more intellectual than them. From what I see, unbelievers are not only intellectually weak but emotinally immature, but sometimes Christians refrain from saying the truth for fear of being backed into a corner.
By the very definition Christians are rational and the irreligious God deniers are non rational and sensual, trust me. Hold them to it.
There is a difference between irrational and non rational. I say these people groups are non rational by choice, not irrational. Niether can anyone truly say any believer is irrational because belief in God is the most rational position one can have. The cause of the dispute between us is not one of rationality, indeed we are purer than they in terms of what it means, but it stems from the fact that they are not rationalists, but sensualists

After the Pope's recent visit to Turkey, he ended his time there by going to one of the local mosques, and bowing down towards Mecca. Was this appropriate? Did he just really bash his own religion and others? If he is the closest man to God, per se in the Catholic religion, did he just bow down to "another" God? "Thou shalt have no other god's before me?"-Ten Commandments #1?

It seems so. everywhere i go its all "sinner! redeem thy self you homosexual! you pagan heathen , tyour going to hell!" and other thing. STOP TRYING TO BE SO FORCEFUL WHEN YOU CONVERT. It makes me sick. Jesus even said that if you went into a home and they refused to hear you to brush the dust of your feet and leave.
STOP PLAYING GOD

give us respect and leave us alone

Jesus had to have DNA, he was a man afterall. This was inspired by another post about Maury and Paternity tests. How do you think (christian or not) Jesus' DNA was built? OH that would be the TRILLION dollar "kleenex" (guys know what I mean, I hope) if it existed...

Let's face it; the similarities between Anakin Skywalker and Jesus are almost uncanny... Both born unto a virgin, both saved the universe in their own little way, both had sons who got their hands chopped off, both hold annual conventions (Star Wars conventions = Church). It's almost creepy. Was George Lucas trying to promote Christianity through children by exploiting a story that has been told for the past 2000 years?

That Mary was a virgin?

Now I know women can get pregnant without their hymen being broke, but back in those days the chances were pretty slim.

They had no artificial insemination or anything. Also, wasn't she married to Joseph? How long? Didn't they do it during their wedding night?

Another question is this, how much pain was she in during her birth. Think about it, her hymen wasn't broke so she had to squeeze this kid out through that and her canal, and she had no drugs and was lying in a filthy manger.

Couldn't God at least have given her something for all that trouble of getting his kid out?

Because everybody believes in something. Everyone has hope, everyone makes wishes. We all pray to something or other, its only natural to do so. Except we call it different things, some people call it God, Allah, Jehovah, whatever. Its unknown. Atheist's simply refuse to give it a name... would you agree?

I'm a christian. Here's a question.

Is it rude to badmouth muslims at church? Like if the pastor said, "Next week we MAY have a muslim coming in to the church, just so you all are aware".

Is it rude to badmouth and mock Islam in the church service the next Sunday, even if I don't see a muslim there?

Interesting thought ran across my mind.

For those who answered that this is not something we should do...that we should be more careful, even IF we don't see a muslim in church the next Sunday....

Would some of you mock God even if you can't see Him? I'm not talking to the atheists who have been very kind and understanding of me in here, but the rude ones that don't just mock christians, but mock God directly. Is it any better for you to mock God even though your not sure He's there?

Just a thought that I hope softens the hearts of atheists, not to me, but to God.

I was just wondering. I don't know how many people are on here just now but what if each of us committed to doing one act of kindness today when we were finished here. Can you imagine how many lives we could touch? I am taking the kids shopping and to McDonalds my act of kindness will be to pay the cost of the persons meal in front of me. How about you?
