Absolutely. I'll assume when you ask of religion you mean a religion of believe in God. God is love hence your love is a product of his love. You'll have to trust me on this to push God out of your relationship would be disgarding the only love that really matters. Now back to all the atheists still searching for truth.

I think it matters most when two people decide to have children. Each thinking that their way is the right way. I think a difference in religion really needs to be thought through before you enter into such a relationship. Trust me. I speak from experience.

To love someone is to love and accept them in spite of their faults and differences. The only thing of any real importance is that the person is good, and that the love is returned. Everything else is just small potatoes.
** People who love, care for, and respect each other should be able to work out their differences in a mature manner. Compromise is a good word to remember. Best of luck to you.

I know for a short while, when you first fall in love, it seems nothing else in the world matters.
But as you let that love mature, things like sharing in things that are important to you, like your faith, start to matter a lot.
thanks

If religion is important to you and your prospective mate, then yes. Beyond that, your relationship to your Creator supercedes your relationships to other created people. If your prospective mate does not share your feelings on this, he or she will compete with God for your affections, and in that fight, somebody has to lose. Choose a mate that shares your affection for God. No missionary dating, either.

It should and reason I say that is first off its in God's word. Be not unequally yoked. Also being of different religions this can bring disharmony in marriage. Are you willing to convert to whatever religion he is or is he willing to convert.

Religion shouldn't matter, ever. In any part of your life.
... sadly it does though. If you're of strongly different beliefs, they may come into conflict.
