I was just wondering. I don't know how many people are on here just now but what if each of us committed to doing one act of kindness today when we were finished here. Can you imagine how many lives we could touch? I am taking the kids shopping and to McDonalds my act of kindness will be to pay the cost of the persons meal in front of me. How about you?

I just finished (these last two months) 2 murals at elementarys. One at the poorest area near here. The other students were gracious and polite but these kids were in wonder as they got to help paint a 40 ft wall. Some had never even done painting before. As it was only for the sixth graders to help, I had a row of little ones asking questions and drawing me pictures and watching all week. I did get paid but volunteered 4 extra days and two more school signs- it was a wonderful satisfaction for me that impacted ALL of us and I'm going back next year. I had my own 2 kids help too & they came away happy and with their own gifts of heart. It always comes back and is more than worth it- and YES! it makes a differance! Just waving thanks when someone gives you a way into another lane is a way to bless this earth with nicer people---rock on and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Sounds like a great idea. I'm in, I don't know what I'm going to do yet, but anyway good luck with the three kids and shopping.

Matthew 6 tells us not to brag about our kindness. If you want God to bless you ,"Don't let your left hand know what your right hand is doing",Jesus said.
Keep it to yourself.
