I know separation varies, but I understand many European countries do have religion in public schools and the public square, and not the non-specific/least common denominator variety that America has some limited form of.

So, how do they decide which one to go with? Even among Christians (discounting Jews, Muslims, Hindus, etc.), if they teach religion in school, how do they teach Catholics, Presbyterians, Mormons, Lutherans, and Baptists all in the same room? Doesn't it just degrade into a theological argument?

I know they're less diverse, but still, there's bound to be SOME diversity. How is that dealt with?

Or are you just hell bent on converting Jews? Does not the immortal soul of a Muslim or Hindu not rate with you?

I mean, you sin too, right? Why are you more focused on hating someone else's sin than hating your own? Shouldn't you be handling your own "sins" first? Or is it that you have so much hate in you that there's more than enough to go around?

I was raised as a Catholic and told that if you committed suicide you went to Hell. I do not agree. Not do I feel that suicide always results in bad karma. I ask this because I had a friend who committed suicide. He went through absolute hell in this life!

For Eternity???? God would allow the pious moral Buddhist to suffer for ETERNITY in Hell, just because he didn't know Jesus during the very brief time he lived on this planet? Does this make sense?

What about a brutal sadistic child-murderer? Does God treat both him and the pious moral Buddhist who has never harmed anyone exactly the same, they both suffer the same eternity in Hell? Does this make sense? And this is supposed to be a just God?

Why not? I dont attend, and for me, it all because I cant find one that actually teaches anything GOOD about God. Every church I have attended have preachers who seem more about bringing people under control by using fear, instead of actually Loving and worshipping God, and learning together. I know we should, as Christians, but it seems like in these times, its nearly impossible to find a church that functions the way God said they should.

So, if you dont, why dont you?

(For the hard cores who want to tell me how wrong I am, go for it, Ive heard it all before. For Atheist who want to smart off, take a swing, you will with or without me asking you to.)

like the God of the Old Testament than the trinity God that Christians speak of. Nowhere in the OT did the Prophets mention the trinity. Isnt it just an invention of the church like the muslims say, and history puports to show?

I have a multi religious family, and was just interested in knowing a little about the other religion. After going on religionfacts & the Jehovah Witness official website, I learned that a business man founded their religion. I don't remember it saying he was sent by God or that God spoke to him. Now I'm not judging I'm trying to get a better understanding! Also with him studying like it was mentioned, is their Scripture his (the founder) translation of God's word, or God's actual words? Can a Jehovah Witness please help me understand the foundation of this religion?

If you believe in the NT God shouldnt you believe in the OT God.
NT God = OT God
If ppl think OT God is a murderer, racist, sexist, and sadist or maybe just not loving enough, why do some ppl disregard him and focus on NT God's suppousdly loving nature.
They cannot be differant so how come the God of Abraham for some ppl has split into two.
