I mean, you sin too, right? Why are you more focused on hating someone else's sin than hating your own? Shouldn't you be handling your own "sins" first? Or is it that you have so much hate in you that there's more than enough to go around?

Ive been trying to make this same point for some time.

I am divorced, and remarried, I am biblically an adulterous. MY sin is equal to that of a homosexuals, but you dont here people all up in arms about re-marriage do you? No church will trun me away, will they? No.

It is hypocricy at its finest. I put it this way, "God says its a sin, but I am not the one to judge you for it". Homosexuality is not up for me to stop, the only thing I can stop is my own sins, not anyone elses.

Its not hate to tell someone they are sinning especially when that person sayd God approves.

Ultimate hate would be to remain silent

Sin is sin your sin is no greater than mine and mine is no greater than yours. One minute all you want is for someone to hate the sin and not the sinner, the next minute you want someone to not hate the sinner and ignore the sin committed by someone else. I think what you truly want is for your sin to be in acceptance by everyone else.

Now if I am in your presence and you are committing sin and I tell you do you know that is a sin? Then your iniquity is yours to bare and the same goes for me. No one is better or greater than someone else in the eyes of God. That's why we are not suppose to judge or condemn one another. But if you are looking for Christians to say be homosexual it's not a sin.... then well that will never happen, no more than you will find someone saying fornication is not a sin... get over it... move on, and get a relationship with God because in the end man is not who you need to be concerned with.

Maria~ sweetie,
The problem lies between religion and relationship. If Christians are truly living like Christ- there is no condemnation. I know I am forgiven because I spend a lot of time with Him. By Jesus' word; I am instructed to 'go into all the world and tell everyone the Good News...' being, now matter what- you too can live in incomprehensible joy and know that it will never end. And that's not all that hard because it is soooo cool being hooked up with the Creator of the Universe.
Spouting hell and damnation is not only unacceptable- it totally goes against Jesus' teachings. He only spoke of Heaven. He only spoke love.
Please don't let the few turn into hate of us who love you- unconditionally. Merry Christmas

Your completely right, some of us as humans get so caught up in trying to label and class everyone as either on the same level or below them they try an hate all that they consider below them, but truth is we are all on the same page, how can we look at the splinter in someone else's eye and miss the plank in our own? we are all brothers and sisters in this race, so instead of hating our brother and sister for their sin we should love and feel sorry for them and help them with their sin, and at the same time maybe get some help for our own. Homosexuality may be something that bothers us alot, but imagine how much it bothers God? Completely going against the nature He planned out for us, so think of how angry and upset God is with that person. So rather than being angry and upset with them aswell feel bad for them, and help them with their problem. and if they dont want help all you can do is pray and leave it to Jesus.

Hate is a strong word. It is not our job to hate other people no matter what. The Bible tells us what is right and wrong and for us to live a Christian lifestyle. I do not have time to condemn others for their sins. Besides, condemning them would be a sin also. Let God do that.

Christians are tought to "hate the sin, love the sinner." That applies to any sin, not just being gay. I'm a youth pastor in Maryland. I sin all the time. Christ questioned the religious leaders of his day saying,

"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?"

He said all that to tell them not to judge others. Christ called us (Christians) to love people, not to condemn them. I apologize for the idiots who associate themselves with Christians yet make no effort to live like Christ

ALL sin will keep one out of heaven. The Bible indicates that ANYTHING that seperates us from God is sin. From the music you listen to to the things you say and do. Please read the following texts. Leviticus 18:22, 23, Matthew 28:19, 20 And Revelation 21:8

I know what you're saying buy one thing is commit a sin and live in Sin, living in sin is different - we the Christian we commit sins but it does not mean we practice them everyday like something we want to do - homosexual ism is a different thing cuz they are living a life of sin not according to God's word. You See the difference Girl?
