What is the difference between them all

If you are Christian you are supposed to believe in Christ and then you must be sure that Christ died for your sins because that is what they claim the crucifixion is about.

But the Bible never describes any cross at the crucifixion that identifies Christ as the bearer.

2 of the 4 Gospels describe the cross or crosses as being borne by one Jesus and this is the description that is used by Pontius Pilate to describe the two thieves he condemned to die by crucifixion without any prior announcement.

Both Pilate and Herod, two Roman Governors present in Jerusalem, declared Christ innocent. and Pilate crucified "Jesus", not the Christ.

Pilate and Herod both had one hundred and one (101) soldiers each in Jerusalem that day.

The procession to the Jerusalem City Garbage Dump, Golgotha, was a military procession that covered up the presence and identity of two thieves until all arrived at Golgotha.

Christ was long before set free by the Romans who loved him as their God.

Much of it doesn't make sence, some words i don't get, some parts are so boaring that i barley pay attention and then I can't even remember what i just read so I read it again and the same thing happens, and some parts seem to contradict other parts. so How am i suppos to learn about God and get close to him if I can't read his book!?

I have an old family Bible published in 1825 by Daniel D. Smith of New York. I was wondering if anybody knew any information on this publisher or the worth of a Bible of this type. I am not really interested in selling it; just curious. It is in pretty good condition and contains many interesting family articles such as notes and hair clippings. Thanks

Why is it such a crime for God to actually relieve some of the undeserved suffering for innocent people. It's becoming difficult to believe in a loving,all-powerful God when such atrocities are allowed on good people.I hope this isn't blasphemy but enough is enough.

punishes inifinitely the finite unbeliever? Because the finite unbeliever committed the infinite crime of not believing Jesus. That is why good people do go to Hell.
If God didn't send Adolf Hitler to Hell, then He wouldn't be a loving God.

My life belongs to God; I have absolutely no doubt about that. Christianity and its organized religions confuse me. I realize man wrote the Bible with the best intensions and the various translations are altered to fit whomever’s ideals. I fear the loss of true meaning. I am certain I am not alone in these thoughts. Some suggested links for study would be much appreciated.

Peace :)

God doesn't hate me, and I'm a sinner...but He insists that I turn away from my sin and live in a way that honors Him. When I have problems getting past the sin in my life, He is there to help me.
How can homosexuals say you have no choice? Does a kleptomaniac have a choice whether to steal or not? Should we punish him if he does? What about a pathological liar?
Are all sexual orientations caused by some gene? Necrophilia, for instance? (ewww!) What about Beastiality? Is the guy in love with his dog that way because of some gene? (That would take some explaining, wouldn't it? )
What about pedophiles? If their sexuality is something in thier genes, can they help it? Are they born that way? Should God accept them?

God doesn't hate anyone...but that doesn't mean anyone can stroll up into His mansion and put their feet up on His golden coffee table and say "Sorry, God, but You'll just have to accept me the way I am...I don't feel like changing for You..."

I realize this is a very vague and open-ended question. However,I'm really fairly clueless about this and would love to hear input from people who attend a particular Christian church or have friends/family who do. What makes the Alliance church different from, say, Seventh-Day Adventist? Evangelical? Presbyterian? Anglican? Baptist? Etc.?

I attend a Lutheran church but it's extremely open and inclusive and may not be typical of other Lutheran Churches, I'm not sure.

These sorry humans not only deny God for themselves, they deny it for others who believe in God. I think there is a special place waiting for them at the other end. My question is, do you believe that God will punish them in this life?

Protestants and Cathoics agree that Saint Peter was infallible in writing the First and Second Letters of Peter in print.

Why could not God prevent St Peter from error when teaching authoritatively in person?
