There are many different kinds of Baptists and also many degrees of differences between Baptists and other Christian DENOMINATIONS. If they are "Christian" (believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, truly God and truly Man) then they are part of the Christian Faith even if they belong to different DENOMINATIONS of that Faith. Please don't confuse Christian Faith, Christian Denominations with "other religions".

Baptists compared with other denominations probably have differing forms of church government, differing views of Communion (a memorial feast) contrasted with such as the Eucharist.

The distinctive difference between Baptists (and Anabaptists) and many other denominations are that Baptists baptise by immersion (immersing once or three times). Some other denominations baptise in similar fashion. whereas many other denominations baptise by sprinkling or pouring, etc.

First of all, there aren't many Christian religions. They are called denominations. In fact, Christianity is considered a religion from the world's perspective, but it actually is a relationship with Christ. Christianity derives from the word Christ follower. There are many denominations that fall under Christianity. As for the differences, it's best to look up each and find out for yourself.

Baptists are diverse. In the US, the largest Baptist denomination is the Southern Baptist Convention, but there are others (American Baptists, Primitive Baptists, Independent Baptists, etc.)

In general, the thing that ties them together is the belief in adult baptism. Southern Baptists tend to be rather fundamentalist, and many are pre-millenialist, although not pentacostal. They also tend to be socially conservative. American Baptists are more liberal, many of them supporting gay rights and abortion rights.

Other denominations are too numerous and diverse to describe. You can look Baptists up on Wikipedia for further information.
