Why do we die?

To rise with Christ, we must die with Christ:

We must "be away from the body and at home with the Lord." (2 Corinthians 5:8)

Death is the end of man's earthly pilgrimage, of the time of grace and mercy which God offers him so as to work out his earthly life in keeping with the divine plan, and to decide his ultimate destiny.

We die because of disease, murder, accidnnts, and natural causes. As you know, the Germans murdered six million Judes during and before World War II.. As you also know, the pope was a member of the Hitler Youth.
