Umm, the key word in here is "not." It means that God did NOT send his son into the world to condemn it, but that he sent Jesus so to save the world.

No it says NOT to condemn the world, but that through him the world might be saved. He didn't come to codemn it but to save it.
Condemn=no. Save=yes. Pretty straightforward if you read it right from the original text.

the buzzword was NOT, the wording is a bit diffrent then what use today but if someone were to say it today it might read like

he meant he sent Jesus to save the world by not sinning and making up for original sin no matter what obstacle he had to face he had faith and trust in God so it made up for our sins
