I am a Christian, but my mood today is that I am a seed choked by thorns!

"And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit." Mark 4:7

I am a Chriatian. I believe...and my religion is very sacred to me but I will admit that I have a bit of confusion that no one has been able to clear up for me.
God created everything. He loves everything just the same so I wonder why is it okay for Christians to partake in the animal slaughter? I have a huge objection to eating meat because it's eating something that was murdered in a brutal fashion. I refuse to believe that God says it's ok to eat meat. These are his creatures. I even talk to some of my Christian friends and I even try to work around it by saying that maybe human sin is the reason why a majority of this world eats meat but they tell me NO. Animals were put here for us to eat. And I can't believe it. I'd like your opinions and please don't be ignorant.

How do I talk to Jesus and know that he's really with me? How do I know that he is my personal savior? I need my meaning in life. I need help in finding Jesus. Help!

In all our history unanswered questions have been answered with "God did it". He made rain and thunder a few thousand years ago. The list is endless.

Is it really that hard to believe that it's only a matter of time before there will be no more questions left to answer? It can take 100 years, it can take 10,000 years, but that day will come.

In our days, "God did it" is only used as an answer for things that go beyond our imagination. Just as those silly people did a few thousand years ago that couldn't understand what caused rain and thunder.

Someday archeologists will find our civilisation and laugh their teeth out about our silliness.

Comforting thought, eh?

“It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.”

Do you think that means rich people are really condemned to Hell?
What about rich ministers like Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson?

I mean u talk bad about women in Islam and the way they are treated .knowing that u got it all wrong, cause im Muslim girl and never been happier with my life…and yeah….i wear hijab and don’t wear "fake hair" like many stupid people said….i actually have the nicest hair thank you
Anyway….did u forget while talking about women in Islam that the U.S has the higher numbers of :
Crimes, especially pregnant women from a street sex
In rape
In abusing people "sex abuse"
In DEVORCE
In hitting women….i mean lots of American men I saw on TV are in jail for killing their women or hitting them
Has the higher number in prostitutes asking for money ……
And ya not to forget mentioning the single mothers who were left alone after knowing from the fathers that "she is pregnant"
And also higher orphans and street kids

So do you think u r fair?or let me be fair…and say that u may not really know the truth. I mean the media in U.S is like lying to a kid…maybe you are shown the wrong side of everything…is that the reason…if not then what's this big reason?

Our servant candle lights the other ones-and one stood at the temple where we had to have our blood atonement sacrifice for sins and said "I am the light of the world, if you follow me you wont walk in darkness, but have the light of life." Messiah as predicted

Isaiah 52:13-53:12 He will be exalted, but first marred more than any man. He will be the arm of the Lord revealed. He will be despised and rejected. He will lay down his life as an atonement for sins. He will die with the wicked and be burried with the rich. He will see his seed and prosper."

I read his words from heaven that he loves each of us and knocks on our heart to come in and deliver from sin." Revelation 3vs 19&20
so I prayed and let him in my heart to be my Messiah and best friend and it happened -he lit up my life --oh yes

Do you have the light of the Messiah the light of the world-I do

No, seriously. I'm not venting, I'm asking!

I don't mind what religion you belong to, just give me your opinion.

Such evil things happen in the world. Babies being raped. Beyond belief, right? Not just with humans. Watch the slow and painful death of an animal eaten alive by African wild dogs. I feel God doesn't live up to what He is supposed to be and it makes me frustrated. To quote Tori Amos, where are those angels when you need them?

Everyone (Christians) are always talking bout when Christ returns and makes everything peaceful. I know this is going to sound stupid but ... if it is true, what would life be like? Better ... obviously, but (okay this is going to sound stupid) but will life still be like the way it is now? Like going to WalMart or driving to work each day and getting a coffee from Starbucks? Or will all that be gone and everything would be like "back then"?
