I mean really, when you see an eagle how can that come from a gooey egg? It must have been built by someone.

How can something as complex as a human come from a single cell sperm and egg?

Sorry, but that's not even remotely close to the arguments for irreducible complexity. The egg contains the cells that will reproduce to create the finished product. It contains also, the nutrients to feed those cells. It's no different than a nut becoming a tree, or the first fertilized cell in a mammal growing to become an animal. It's simple cellular reproduction, with the genetic information to produce a living thing.

An argument that the egg to bird metamorphosis shows something too complex to happen without some God is not defendable. First, one might look at the egg with more than a frying pan in hand. One will find an extremely complex structure that contains all that is needed to bring about an immature bird. It's not the miracle you might be trying to defend.

Someone at Penn State ought to be able to produce a bit better argument than that. Perhaps you're just a freshman though.

Russian scientists reportedly have been able to create something like an egg. It looks exactly like an ordinary hen's egg. It taste like a real one. But if you let a hen lay on it for 21 days or even 21 years, nothing will come out of it!
Isn't that a proof that you need somebody bigger than the scientists to create eggs, human beings and the universe.
Atheists scoffed us for depending upon faith in saying there is a creator. But actually you need a much greater faith to believe that you need intelligent scientists to make one satelite or sputnik and send it orbiting in space than to believe that there is a God who must be more inteligent than any of us who created the universe.

They do, in some school classrooms they've removed part of the shell of an egg and covered with plastic to watch the bird (it wasn't an eagle, probably a chicken) develop until it hatched.

What do you happened to it, God snapped his fingers and the egg suddenly transformed into a bird?

No, it comes from an egg.
You must have struggled in biology class!

By God! Thank you!!! Why can't everyone see that? When it's right in front of us. It was "accidentally" made so perfect?
