In all our history unanswered questions have been answered with "God did it". He made rain and thunder a few thousand years ago. The list is endless.

Is it really that hard to believe that it's only a matter of time before there will be no more questions left to answer? It can take 100 years, it can take 10,000 years, but that day will come.

In our days, "God did it" is only used as an answer for things that go beyond our imagination. Just as those silly people did a few thousand years ago that couldn't understand what caused rain and thunder.

Someday archeologists will find our civilisation and laugh their teeth out about our silliness.

Comforting thought, eh?

It's the incredibly shrinking god. The God of the Unknown must shrink as man's ignorance shrinks. People need to put the god where they can be relatively sure it stays or be maybe happy when the God of Net Ignorance shrinks. It's like the fable about the anger eating demon and how they shrank it with kindness. Sometimes we like when spirits shrink and maybe even die. That seems unlikely though. There will always be some ignorance - but it would be interesting to hear what replaces creationism/ID as impossible science in 1000 years.

Well, nobody did anything "a few thousand years ago". The Bible is very specific - yes, i know you have a bunch of moron so-called "christians" saying that evolution is wrong, it goes against the Bible because God created this earth 6000 year ago - HA
THE BIBLE does NOT say the world was created at the time of Adam and Eve. Actually, it says this earth is billions upon billions of years old - Read the very first verse of Genesis: In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. PERIOD.
He doesn't say when, just "in the beginning". There is an entire earth age before Adam and Eve got here. Remember how he told them to go and replenish the earth? Thats because it was plenished once before - it was destroyed in the great war - you know, the one where satan rebelled -he tried to sit on the throne that was to be for Jesus - it started a great war. God could have just destroyed those one-third of our people who went with satan, but what does it take to kill one of your own? So, instead God created THIS earth age, and destroyed the last one. When this earth age was being set up, yep thats where you read about Adam and Eve. I don't know if someday archeologists will find our civilization and laugh at it, but I do know that even today there are people who laugh at these goofy christians who do nothing more than spout-off, when they have absolutely no knowledge whatsoever of the Bible. And they should laugh,
its pitiful.

Man can never understand what God has done or has prepared for us.
Scripture says that eyes have not seen or have it enter into the hearts of men what God has prepare for us in heaven.
It is beyond our imagination.
Never the less, nothing beats faith.
Being a Christian takes faith.

Archeologists will, or might find out what God has done, but the beauty of it, is that God's people already know (because they study the scriptures and have a relationship with Christ) what the world is now finding out.

Why do you so want to prove that God does not exist? Thats like a child trying to prove that his parents don't exist. The evidence is all around you. Or like saying If I cant see you; your not there. Do you feel better about sinning, if you think no God, no punishment for what I do. You, of all people I would think would understand absolutes. You cannot be absolutely say that there is no God. You have no proof. Your so called proof a theory with absolutely no scientific evidence.

Because the more and more people figure out HOW God did it, the more and more they say He didn't do it at all.

You might as well say that logo I made for work last week was created by adobe illustrator and not me.

there's a saying in Romanian (cine rade la urma rade mai bine) that is :who laughs last, laughs the most. Probably God really did it (i'm really not the one to tell) and the problem is that it takes us longer to figure out ...how. That's where science comes in.

I'm floored, once again, by the answers the believers give. What really gets me is that 'he' is never responsible for any bad things, but everything else, 'he' did.

What a crock!

Let's not rack [wreck? lol] our brains too much with so many far-fetched notions, and allow Mankind even 100,000 more years from now...

But until Science and Technology can actually do it, ONLY GOD CAN MAKE A TREE...

Peace be with you.
