As Christians we are told

Matthew 5 : 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

We are like a burning candle before men

Interesting observance; the Holy of Holies had no 'man made' source of light in it, and the sun. moon, and stars were not created until day 4 of creation. Jesus said he was the light of the world. I also believe presently that 'Lord' from Genesis-Malachi was the Lord Jesus Christ.

Happy Hanukkah !

I'm Catholic and just read and now understand what Hanukkah really is.............Day of Dedication.

Just as I learn of Judaism roots in our Christian faith, it is wonderful to know that you are Jewish who has found Christ in your life.

Merry Christmas !
