for what they have turned religion into....(but that's beside the point)

What if I told you that it;s OK to believe in science, have no religion.. and still believe in the existence of the divine creator?

Not your god. He'd never command anything bad. But what might ANOTHER god do?

*sigh*

they are the ones who believe in him and want us to believe too. So why shouldn't they come up with proof? (or just shut up and stop telling us to believe) Why do they tell us we are wrong for not believing? I don't think believers are wrong, they just have different opinions.

Long ago people believed in rain gods, sun gods, and sea gods, etc. Someone finally explained it all with science and proved them wrong.

someone once gave an example using a box. Say someone put an object in a box and closed it up. You can tell the object is in the box is you weigh it, shake it, and open it. Now, take the object out and give it to a believer. They can say that the object inside is too light to weigh and doesn't move so it wont make a sound when you shake it. Without opening the box, can you prove it's in there? (science can)

Can God do whatever he wants, or should he be held to account for his crimes against humanity? As a murderer, should God be hanged, shot, burned at the stake, drawn and quartered, electrocuted, or crucified?

as 2 Chronicles 15:2 says,"if you are with God, he is with you, and if you seek him you will find him"

With that said we as true servants of God know that God is with us, and this has given hope to men for all of time.

Brother I know we live in a time of tolerance when you are never to offened anyone, but once again were we created to live for the will of men??? NO!!!!!!!!!!

We are here for God!!!!!!!

and when you have a religion like Islam that says that they believe in Christ, yet

They dont believe he rose from the dead

because they dont believe he died on the cross

and to top it off they dont believe the was the son of God!!!!

Christ was the son of god , he said so him self

so if you dont agree with that then you are sying that Christ is a liar, and why would you have a liar for a prophet

also his purpose was to die!!!!!! that is why he was sent to this earth, so if you take that away, then why was he here????????

Islam has many flaws

My brother and his wife recently moved out of there flat and my mum said they could stay with us for a few months until they find somewhere. My sister in law asked my mum if her parents could stay with us over Christmas and she said yes aslong as they asked me and my sister and we said yes. Now I don't mind her parents coming for Christmas because we have quite a big house and my other sister has gone to work in France for a year and can't make it back for Christmas so we have alot of free rooms. But my sister in law her family and my brother are really Christian and always pray before we eat. My sister and my mum are also quite religious but don't usually pray. They will now expect me to pray before we eat or atleast not eat while they're praying but I don't want to. I have no objection to them praying but I don't believe in it so don't see why I should pray or not eat while they're praying and let my dinner go cold. So what should I do to avoid any arguments?

Muhammad is a hoax. He never walked on earth. And to think there are people who believe he did. PUHLEASE. PT Barnum said it best... There's a sucker born every minute.

The news story of the Mr & Mrs Guay who were missing for 5 days. and found dead in their car in Rocky Mount, N.C. For 5 days the news media said that people were praying. And the result, unfortunately, nothing. People who pray don't live longer healthier lives, don't get better jobs, don't win the Lottery any more often than non-prayers, the end result is the same. Religions make innuendos that if you give a money offering, your prayer has a better chance. They sell false hope for $3 billion a year in donations. Ignore it if you wish, but reality can't be changed.

I know that as a Jewish male, he should have been circumcised. But is it mentioned in the Bible? He was born in a manger, and his parents went straight from Bethlehem to Egypt; I don't think Joseph, a carpenter, had the necessary training to do the operation himself. Did they find a rabbi in Egypt to do it? Only, that's quite a distance, isn't there some timeframe in which you're supposed to get the procedure done?
Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

I'm just curious to see who thinks that someone canbe an agnostic atheist. I, myself am an agnostic atheist. I'm wondering if anyone else is, and if anyone just believes it is possible.

Also, for those that are an agnostic atheist, or one or the other, how have you dealt with it? Was it hard?

The belief that:

A) The world is flat (Flatearthers)

B) The Apollo moon landings were faked and man has never been to the moon. (Apollo Conspiracy Theorists)

C) The universe was created by a supernatural entity over the span of 144 hours or six days (7 day literalists).

Keep in mind that there is ample evidence to the contrary of all of these statements.
