Who says that we *all* do?
I don't have answers for every question, religious or otherwise. And when I don't know something, I say that I don't know.

Can I just start off by saying that those Christian people who got offended by this question need to read about judgment in Luke and do some repenting.
Now I'll answer your question.
Atheists can't pull out a faith card because they don't believe in anything. Am I right?
Christians don't pull out a faith card either. We live in faith, at least we're supposed to. It's our way of life. When life gets tough and we don't know what to do next, yes, we ask God, because he has the answer to everything.
It sounds to me like you're questioning your own beliefs.
It's really hard living life on your own, not knowing the answers to life's important questions. God answers those questions. And he tells the truth.

Since being an atheist basically means the absence of faith, it's impossible for you to "pull out the faith card". However, to answer your question: just as science is still being studied and medicine is still being practiced we don't have all the answers... a lot of stuff we take on faith but the truth is that we have more hope and joy in our faith than anyone else has in their questions.

Without faith, one can't move Godward. Why would an Atheist even care!

That's precisely the point. There are many things you cannot answer in life and have to just accept on faith. And who says astheist don't do this? I mean really, they have faith that there is no god.

I believe in a "higher being" and um I don't use "faith"; I use my brain and (do as Steve off of Blues Clues said) "think, think....think"
Now come on now you are generalizing, but how come a lot of atheists use the bible as their evidence of a higher being not existing

Because you always ask queer questions, like:
What color was Jesus' hair?
What's heaven look like?
If God's real, why does he let bad things happen?
These are questions in which we have no answers. questions that have no answers are normally brushed off as a "stupid" question. However, we tend to give the asker the benefit of the doubt by NOT calling them dumb....hence we "pull out the faith card"

Because "believing" in God is a CHOICE. In the absence of PROOF of the existence of a god, you are free to pick for or against. Picking against gives you nothing and is no fun at all - your friends won't be as nice as mine. Do you think "believers" are stupid? We are just opting for something that makes sense of the wonder of creation, and that leads to high aspirations and hope. Atheism leads to nothingness - maybe humanism, but why "believe" in humans or science? What does that get you?
