How many people here are have a job in or are studying in the math or science fields (not including secondary ed, animal science, or nutrition) and have complete faith in their religion (besides buddhism)? I mean complete faith, like you go to church or your place of worship every week.

The threat of eternal punishment binds people to outdated holy books. How can humanity change and progress when the fear of not believing these books forces people to accept irrational dogmas?

Her son will be named Damein. I practice Christian religion and I want to know if Wiccans (Witches) has certain powers and can they cast spells? Im also worried about the age difference. Sence she just truned 17 is she of legal age of sexual consent? I am not trying to tear them apart I just want to know how to deal with these issues. Please no sarcastic comments. I need sound advice. Thank you.

"Satan no longer has power over my life, I am finally free. Free from worry, fear, hate, anger, and last but not least free from my own worse enemy... myself! I see with brand new eyes, I hear with brand new ears, I feel with a brand new heart. I gladly no longer walk for myself, I allow the maker of my path walk for me. How can I deny the one who has kept me and loved me even when I did not love myself?

I surrendered a little and allowed him to step in, I surrendered allot and allowed him to take over. Now where I was weak I am strong. Where the enemy kept me quiet by faith and trust in The L-rd I am able to speak those things that are unseen as if they are, and receive those blessings time after time.

I feel joy here pain was dwelt, and just knowing there is still so much more to learn fills my heart where there was once emptiness. So how does it feel to be a vessel for Christ? I am no longer asleep Satan can no longer dim the light that my Father made shine. GLORY TO G-D!"

Catholic, Baptist, Methodist, Episcopal. . . and so on. Its all Christianity. When Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world, why are Christians so bent on arguing over whether each other is a Christian or not? From looking and trying many of the world's different religions, Christianity specifically means you accept Christ as the Son of God and Savior to mankind. Just want to illicit some perspectives on this.

Every week someone posts a silly question like,
Is the end going to happen on 6-6-06, 7-7-07, 2012, Friday the 13th.

The teachings that they claim to follow even states,

"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father." in Mark 13:32

Do they ask because they don't believe in the teachings of Christ?

Some guys came over and tried to rape his guest, and he said "No, take my virgin daughters instead but do not harm this man I met today."

Now, if this is morality in the Bible, do you think other things (Literal Interpretation of Genesis, Homophobia, Islamophobia, Xenophobia, Condemnation of those with different faiths, Heaven-Hell extreme choices, slavery, sexism etc, etc?) could have been wrong, too?

Perhaps the Bible is not to be taken as 100% literally as you thought, or that maybe it has been corrupted by the hands of men?

This is a hypothetical questions, my beliefs are quite different, see bio.
