That's true, but oxygen is what our lungs process into our bloodstream, not nitrogen. We can live without nitrogen, not owygen.

We breathe it all, technically, of course, but our body has no use for nitrogen. Oxygen is what feeds our blood and keeps us alive. So it would be rather foolish to say we breathe nitrogen, if breathing infers that we are feeding our bodies.

Because oxygen is the element we utilize the most out of the various compounds in the air we breathe. You ask a lot of strange questions. And answer in nonsensical ways. I bet you're bored.

We need oxygen since it highly electronegative, and in the electron transport chain in each cell of our body that undergoes cellular respiration, it is required to be the final electron acceptor, for the production of Adenosine Triphosphate (energy currency of the cell), from Glucose (sugar)
Nitrogen is used by plants, nitrogen fixation, I don't want to explain, photosynthesis is a bit complex.

this is true. it is because the oxygen is more imparative for survival and used more by the body than other gasses.
also i don't hear people say that. i hear them say they breath air.

seems like we are breathing in more carbon monoxide from pollution (automobiles, factories, trucks)...hack hack hack (can't stop coughing)
