that stuff is just as old, if not older, and is still around today, and is quite popular. why isn't that considered true and real? it has the same principals, morals, fantastic tales, etc, it's good folk tales, like the bible, yes?

why is there so much hate between these two groups.

they both believe based on nothing more then the observations, claims, and interpretations of those who wrote the books they read from.

niether can prove beyond doubt that theirs is the actual truth.

as those claim that christians dont know/interpret the bible right, most of those who beleive in the big bang have never even done any experiments of their own to come to any similar conclusion. both based on blind faith. so why so much dispute between them?

For example, the sentence is: Semana Santa es una fiesta muy importante porque '_____ the crucifixion of Jesus'. What would you say before it? Would you say it reminds people of it, it commemorates it?....

where did everything come from that exploded into life? and if it true why cant you reconstruct a working model in a lab? if a bunch of atoms can randomly come together to form something why cant we create a sped up version of evolution in a lab?

we can recreate tornadoes, and hurricanes, tsunamis, and wind tunnels, most anything scientific that is PROVEN and not a theory can be replicated.

C'mon people. Is there a gene for heterosexuality? No! So why would there be one for homosexuality? I was born heterosexual, I did not choose my sexuality, it is just who I am.

Who is the moron that started this gay gene?

I hear this premise often-- that life is so perfect/complex/beautiful, that God must be real....
Is this a sound argument?
If you believe it is, why do you think others do not?

God doesn't hate me, and I'm a sinner...but He insists that I turn away from my sin and live in a way that honors Him. If I have a problem getting past the sin in my life, He is there to help me.
How can homosexuals say you have no choice? Does a kleptomaniac have a choice whether to steal or not? Should we punish him if he does? What about a pathological liar?
Is pedophilia a sexual orientation? Can pedophiles help it? Are they born that way? Should God accept them?

God doesn't hate anyone...but that doesn't mean anyone can stroll up into His mansion and put their feet up on His golden coffee table and say "Sorry, God, but You'll just have to accept me the way I am...I don't feel like changing for You..."

I don't believe in a god and I was wondering what those who do think about this question. We all know there are a lot of religions out there who all have their own philosophies and 'guidelines'. So then whose going to heaven and who to hell? (Besides me going to hell.)

But yet, if I (as a male) asked the same question, I would be murdered in the most horrific way possible (well, maybe I wouldn't be greeted with hositility at that level of extremity, but you get the point).

But seriously, it's the same question regardless of who asks it. So why the different reactions?
