there is a word leviathan in the Bible which could be dinosaurs, and since we do not know the actual time of how long a day was it is possible that the dinosaurs were here before man.. a day is as a thousand years and a thousand years is as a day... so there could of been a 1000 years between each day.. but I dont think anyone truly knows.. mostly theories.. :o)

Don't listen to the idiotic answers that you will no doubt receive.
The word Dinosaur is not in the bible because the KJV was not translated until 1611.
Dinosaur was invented by Richard Owen in 1841.
The Hebrew word for dinosaur is Tanniyn (Means marine or land monster).
The KJV translates that word to dragon.
Behemoth--Job 40
Leviathan---Job 41
Land dragon Isaiah 43:20, Jeremiah 14:6
Sea dragon Psalm 74:13, Isaiah 27:1
Air Dragon Isaiah 30:6 (flying serpeant)
If you've read the description of the Leviathan found in Job, well it sounds an awful lot like the dinosaurs doesnt't it?
Dinosaurs did live with man and were probably on the ark.See for that to happen Noah would have had to gotten small, young dinosaurs. Theres no scripture on that, it's just my opinion.
Dinosaurs did live with man, but most people will deny this because and only because it will make their whole theory on evolution completley false.
Dinosaurs did not live before man but rather with man.

Dinosaurs in the Bible
Main article: Behemoth
Some Jews and Christians believe that dinosaurs appear in the Old Testament, and regard this as evidence that the animals were still alive during early human history.
As it is a modern coinage derived from Greek, the Bible does not use the word "dinosaur", but the Hebrew word tanniyn (/tan·ˈnin/) may be interpreted as referring to them[citation needed]. In English translations, tanniyn may be translated as “sea monster” or “serpent”, but it is usually translated as “dragon”. These creatures are mentioned nearly thirty times in the Old Testament and are found both on land and in the water. At another point, the Bible describes a huge creature called a "behemoth" (Job 40:15-24) whose "tail sways like a cedar"; the behemoth is described as ranking "first among the works of God" and as impossible to capture (vs. 24). Some Biblical scholars identify the behemoth as either an elephant or a hippopotamus, but these animals have very thin tails that are not comparable to a cedar tree. Creationists therefore identify the behemoth with dinosaurs like Brachiosaurus and Diplodocus, and most commonly the Apatosaurus which has a huge, cedar-like tail.[2] , [3] Critics point out that the tail is described as swaying like a cedar, not being as large as a cedar.
The Leviathan is another creature referred to in the Bible's Old Testament; it is described as having a variety of dinosaur, dragon, and water-serpent-like characteristics. Many scholars identify the Leviathan in Job c. 41 with the crocodile. Some Bible readers, however, have tried to connect the creature with the dinosaurs.

When did God create dinosaurs, and when did they become extinct?
The Bible does not provide specific answers to this question. According to the Genesis account, animals were created during the fifth and sixth creative periods or ‘days.’ If the Hebrew expression translated “great sea monsters” [Hebrew, tan·ni·nim'] includes dinosaurs, which often inhabited swampy, watery areas, this would mean that dinosaurs were created on the fifth “day.” We do not know whether they continued to exist until man was created (toward the close of the sixth “day”).
At the very latest it seems likely that they must have disappeared off the earth at the time of the flood of Noah’s day. Dinosaurs were reptiles, and some kinds of dinosaurs bear strong resemblance structurally and otherwise to lizards (sauros is, in fact, the Greek word for “lizard”; saura in Leviticus 11:29 . Not all types of dinosaurs were of such gigantic size. Hence, even if they had survived till the Flood, this would not have required taking pairs of the mammoth varieties into the ark. Other smaller members of the particular family or “kind” to which these belonged would have sufficed to fulfill the divine command.
While the radioactive dating method is innovative, it is still based on speculation and assumption. In contrast, the Bible account in the first chapter of Genesis simply states the general order of creation. It allows for possibly thousands of millions of years for the formation of the earth and many millenniums in six creative eras, or “days,” to prepare the earth for human habitation.
Some dinosaurs (and pterosaurs) may indeed have been created in the fifth era listed in Genesis, when the Bible says that God made “flying creatures” and “great sea monsters.” Perhaps other types of dinosaurs were created in the sixth epoch. The vast array of dinosaurs with their huge appetites would have been appropriate considering the abundant vegetation that evidently existed in their time.—Genesis 1:20-24.
When the dinosaurs had fulfilled their purpose, God ended their life. But the Bible is silent on how he did that or when. We can be sure that dinosaurs were created by Jehovah for a purpose, even if we do not fully understand that purpose at this time. They were no mistake, no product of evolution. That they suddenly appear in the fossil record unconnected to any fossil ancestors, and also disappear without leaving connecting fossil links, is evidence against the view that such animals gradually evolved over millions of years of time. Thus, the fossil record does not support the evolution theory. Instead, it harmonizes with the Bible’s view of creative acts of God.
When Did They Live?
Dinosaurs played a dominant role in life on earth during their age. But then they came to an end. The rock layers containing human fossils consistently occur above those layers containing dinosaur fossils. Because of this, scientists generally conclude that humans came on the earthly scene later.
In this regard the book Palaeontology, by James Scott, states: “Even the earliest species of Homo sapiens (man) lived long after the disappearance of the dinosaurs, After tilting (through earth movement) has been allowed for, rocks containing fossil men consistently occur above those preserving the bones of the great dinosaur reptiles and it follows that the latter belong to an earlier age than the human remains.”

Dinosaurs were created on the sixth day of creation the same as all the other animals, and lived on the earth along with man. Most of them would have become extinct at the time of the flood, although they were on the ark also, but probably destroyed shortly after if they were a threat tot he safety of humans. The Bible does describe creatures that could resemble dinosaurs, but of course he word "dinosaur" did not exist then so they are called "Behemoth", and "Lievithian." You can read the descriptions and see what you think. It is hard when you have been taught from a little child that they existed millions of years ago to all of a sudden realize that the Bible says something different and tha you have been deceived. But in 1962 the Bible was taken out of the schools so that your generation has grown up without having both sides of the story present to you.
here are teh passages:
Job 40:15 "Behold now, Behemoth, which I made as well as you; He eats grass like an ox. 16 "Behold now, his strength in his loins And his power in the muscles of his belly. 17 "He bends his tail like a cedar; The sinews of his thighs are knit together. 18 "His bones are tubes of bronze; His limbs are like bars of iron. 19 "He is the first of the ways of God; Let his maker bring near his sword. 20 "Surely the mountains bring him food, And all the beasts of the field play there. 21 "Under the lotus plants he lies down, In the covert of the reeds and the marsh. 22 "The lotus plants cover him with shade; The willows of the brook surround him. 23 "If a river rages, he is not alarmed; He is confident, though the Jordan rushes to his mouth. 24 "Can anyone capture him when he is on watch, With barbs can anyone pierce his nose?"
Job 41:1 "Can you draw out Leviathan with a fishhook? Or press down his tongue with a cord? 2 "Can you put a rope in his nose Or pierce his jaw with a hook? 3 "Will he make many supplications to you, Or will he speak to you soft words? 4 "Will he make a covenant with you? Will you take him for a servant forever? 5 "Will you play with him as with a bird, Or will you bind him for your maidens? 6 "Will the traders bargain over him? Will they divide him among the merchants? 7 "Can you fill his skin with harpoons, Or his head with fishing spears? 8 "Lay your hand on him; Remember the battle; you will not do it again! 9 "Behold, your expectation is false; Will you be laid low even at the sight of him? 10 "No one is so fierce that he dares to arouse him; Who then is he that can stand before Me?
Good luck with your searching.

The Bible that your reading is speaking about a re-plenishing of the earth's population and there was people on earth before Adam and Eve. When you read that the earth was void and without form. The reason why the earth was in this condition is was God wanted to create a new species of man and he destroyed the Dinosaur with a meteorite shower 49,000 years ago and that made the earth become void and without form. So Dinosaur did exist with pre-history-man and he live in constent fear and God wanted to start a new population with more balance.

It could be confusing.
Open up your bible again, to the book of Genesis. Read chapter 1 verse 21.
Here it's mentions about sea monsters and winged flying creatures.
These could be some of the dinosaurlike animals God created.
The bible does not mention exactly why God created these kind of animals or why and when they disappered.
But since the Genesis account says that everything was good, God must have created these for a good reason. And then he allowed them to die.
Maybe they had filled it's purpose and they were not needed anymore.

keep this in mind while reading Genesis...
God said on the first day He created light....then on the second day he made the oceans and the sky BUT He does not say that His days are 24 hour days like we know them. One day for God could have been years, even decades or centuries.
Now inbetween that time somewhere, there may have been the dinosaurs. God only reveals in the Bible what man needs to know....obviously we do not need to know about the dinosaurs.

They say dinosaurs would have came before man because of the theory of evolution.
I say they were created at the same time and just died out.
The bible does talk about dinosaurs in Job 40.
It talks about a leviathan which means some sort of big creature. What other big creatures were there besides dinosaurs.
The word "dinosaur" was made recently, so of course the word "dinosaur" won't be in the bible.

Hey hon...good question. O.K., the bible states that God made the world in seven days--Right? God's time is not like our time. Each day could've been millions of years. There's no denying the proof that dinosaurs and prehistoric man were here. Who knows what actually happened during the creation period...we just have the basic details as outlined in Genesis.
Hey--go ahead and talk it over w/ your dad. I'ld be curious to know his response.
Be Blessed in all you do!
