It depends on whose Bible you are using, what translation, and who you talk to.

The Bible has the best answers available from around 4,000 BC up to around 200 AD. Since the world has evolved and changed dramatically since then, most of the Bible must be out of date. How can this not be so?

No !!! The bible is, what ? I don't know.
Okay, I'm trying to be as stable as I can be Please someone help me.
My position ,so far, is:
The bible is a collection of stories{parables},that were put together by WHO ? IT IS NOT THE FREAKIN WORD OF GOD.
How, why, were these people chosen to write down a story that would be picked by another ,centuries later ,a chosen person?
AH, live the life to the fullist.GOD, LOVE ALL OF YOU !

The Bible is an interesting work of fiction. Tales and legends of the middle east were not written to provide answers but to entertain the readers....

Of course not. Not only is it ancient history, but a lot of it is simply wrong. Some theses in it are valid today, but it requires careful scrutiny to separate the wheat from the chaff.

study and meditate BIBLE thoroughly(New Testament). It is really wonderful. It gives happiness and clear direction in life. Do not try to follow others. Follow Jesus only. Only Jesus is THE ANSWER.
