but chronologically God was before me, and He makes first efforts through the work of the Holly Spirit in believers and through other ways to attract people to Him.
ie. someone shared Christ with me first. If I would never hear about God how could I find Him? God calls everybody to Him, but not all want to responf to His call. :-(

God has already given us the gift of salvation through His Son and does not run after us,it is we who must come before God in our wretchedness and humble ourselves to ask for His forgiveness and healing,it`s all there in the story of the Prodigal Son.
