You can't really communicate with a ghost, they are just a "recording" if you like of what once happend. However you may get a feeling about what happend and the emotions around it. This is working purely on a psychic level.

If you are wanting to communicate with the spirit world, that is something very different, and, if you are serious, I would suggest you visit a spiritualist church. It takes a lot of dedication to be a channel for the spirit world, but well worth it.

A Spirit, God, identifies the true source behind ghosts.

1 Sam 28:3-19 tells of how Samuel had died and that Saul went to a spiritmedium to contact Samuel and "he" appeared.

This could not have been Samuel, since other scriptures helps us to see that dead people are not conscious. (Ecc 9:5,10;Ps 115:17;Eze 18:4)

So the real source behind these kind of lies, would be someone opposite to the truth. (Rev 12:9;2 Cor 2:11;John 8:44)

So as for communicating with a ghost, my advice is - don't.

There are many ways that people use to communicate with the spirit world. A famous way would be to use a Oujiboard. My mum did this wen she was young and it told her she'd marry a man with the initals R.J.C.W and 9 years later she met the man who is my dad and has those initals. But Oujiboards can be dangerous and i wouldnt suggest using one.

IF YOUR ACTUALLY BEING SERIOUS ABOUT THIS
Draw a large circle on your floor using salt. Place some white candles around your circle (About five) you need to sit in the centre of the circle. This is for your protection. Its called a magical circle. Turn out your lights and light your candles starting with the candle infront of you and light them in a clockwise direction. Sit and close your eyes and concernstrate on who it is you want to commumnicate with.

Ive only told you how to begin, im not going to tell you exactly what to say or how to call on spirits as this is something you need to find out for yourself. We all do this in our own ways, but its important to use a magical circle if you want to be protected.

Dont think bad thoughts and if something evil pops into your thinking id suggest you turn on the lights and start again another day.

You CAN buy books on this sort of thing but if you want the real thing and not aload of printed rubbish go to an Occult store.

And before anyone suggests that Pentigrams and Occults stores are for Black Magic they are not. If a pentigram is used the right way up its good.

Louise i think got this question mostly right. Go to a spiritualist church. You need protection too, from bad spirits. Developing Mediums spend alot of time in Meditating, learning, etc. Also deep meditation to get your mind in the right state. But remember spirit will not talk or communicate with you, if they don't want to.. Best advice, go to a Spiritualist church, and ask if their are any open Groups you could join. They are good people. That would be your first step. I hope this helps
