It just doesn't seem moral to me..Could a just being make such a rule, or only an evil one? and if it is an evil one, who is it you truly worship?

not owned by a single person or family, but slaves to the government. We do all the menial labor, they take the money and toss us back our "living wage"(which is on life support!) The caste system is still firmly in place and keeping people in their places and the best we can hope for is to be treated decently-do you agree?

Bukari: “”the prophet said, "isn't the witness of a woman equal to half of that of a man?" the women said, "yes." he said, "this is because of the deficiency of a woman's mind."” http://www.islamicity.com/mosque/sunnah/bukhari/048.sbt.html#003.048.826

If a womans witness is equal to half that of a man, then Allah is essentially saying that no woman can be trusted, because no matter who the woman is, if she is the only witness to a robbery, then there is no witness cause half a wtiness is no witness at all.

Why did Allah make woman this way...I mean, why not make them trustworthy and equal to a man in their witness and everything else.

You know what, this Islam...wow...I mean, it just doesnt work for me...I hope I havent offended any hatefilled intolerant think skinned insecure hair trigger followers of the "religion of peace".

If you feel upset and want to avenge insecure Allah...take a deep breath and go bend over a couple of time for allah instead.

My dad did a report on Christmas back in high school, and he found out that Jesus really wasn't born during Christmas day, but sometime either around April or May. Plus, I asked someone at my church if his true birth was written in the bible, and he/she said yes. What I don't understand is this: why do we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ around Christmas time when he wasn't exactly born during that holiday? And if Jesus was born sometime around May or April, how come we don't celebrate his birth around those months?

I can’t imagine holding such a contradiction: I have faith that God exists and at the same time I have proof that God exists. Doesn’t proof disqualify faith? If I have faith, I don’t need proof. If I have proof, why have faith? Do I need to have faith in the existence of a place called New York? No, I have proof and evidence it exists. But I do need faith to believe that there is a place called Hell, or Paradise.

I don't need forgiveness because I have done absolutely nothing wrong. Most people who go to church don't know how to live a good life, they take drugs, smoke weed, and then gets cleaned up by reading the bible. So these people are weakminded first, and then they learn the bible to improve there life. Well, I am an Athiest and I don't do such decadent and abusive behaviors like taking drugs or having lots of sex with children like these old men molesters in your church. You guys are freaks and weak minded people. I never drank one once of alcohol, and never do any of the sins you guys talk about, but at the same time, I can accept being nothing after death. It does not bother me. But that apparently bothers you bible huggers. That is wjhy you follow the Jesus stuff. You guys are weak!!!!!!!!!!!

Think about it. They always complain that there so "persecuted" and "opressed" in america when there not since there the majority. So thats delusions of persecution right there.

They think there so important when there no special than the other 100's of billions of people that have existed and will exist. So thats delusions of grandeur right there.

They think they hear "god" (even though theres no god). So thats hallucinations right there.

Why are they not in institutions is the question?

Well Ive read a few websites and saw a few articiles in the newspaper. Ive seen one about Islam being offended because a King Kong drawing had a fez hat on and the picture was removed since it was deemed offensive. Christian's got offended when they had a picture of jesus and a boy lying on his lap some christian's thought it was sick and twisting thinking the kid was giving head to jesus.

Which religion gets offended most easily? what do you think

Check out the historical accuracy of the Babylonian captivityor the Assyrian captivity. Check out the rulers mentioned and the time periods in which they reigned. The Bible is accurate. The book of Isaiah was written 700 years or so before Christ and speaks of the earth as being a circle ( Isaiah 40 : 22 ) or how did Job know that the earth is suspended over nothing ( Job 26 : 7). If only the early explorers like Columbus had read their Bibles, they wouldn't have had to worry about falling off the edge of the earth as they thought the earth was flat. How could Job have known the earth was a circle other than because this book we call the Bible is indeed what it says it is; the word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit ( 2 Timothy 3 : 16 )and given through men.

...then why not come to church and find out for yourself? There are friendly Christian congregations almost everywhere!

Church is about worshipping God, not judging other people. No one is perfect, so no one is "better" than anyone else. But by God's awesome love and Jesus' resurrection, anyone can be forgiven and healed.

A church fellowship is also about building strong communities, connecting with neighbors, and making new friends. In addition to regular Saturday or Sunday worship and children's programs, most churches offer extra worship services, Bible-study groups, community service, volunteer opportunities, outreach programs, coffee-and-chat groups, and other activities throughout the week.

Think church isn't for you? Remember, to gain the real treasures--peace, joy, freedom, happiness, fulfillment, and eternal life--we must go where they can be found, and seek them with persistence and patience.

Won't you join us in worship this week?

" I like your Christ. I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ." - Gandhi

The Mahatma was leading a peaceful reisistance to British rule in India. He saw the injustice perpetrated on the citizens of India. Much like the injustice in South Africa.

In my opinion, Jesus would not have approved of slavery or bigotry. He wanted all of us to love others as we love ourselves. How can a book be so revered when it goes against the teachings of Jesus?

"I never knew what real frustration was until I became a Christian. To know Christ and to know others who don't is like standing in a desert next to a well of fresh cool water, watching your friends and loved ones crawling along the hot sand. All they have to drink in that hot burning desert is salt water, and with each mouthful they cry out in despair, through swollen lips and tongue "I thirst". You hold out your glass of fresh cool water knowing the satisfaction it brings and all you hear in return is "Don't try and ram that down my throat" or "I don't like the shape of the glass". Jesus said "If any man thirst, let him come to me and drink....the water I shall give shall be in him a well springing up into eternal life."

Does anybody know more about David Hume's stance on miracles? I know he said they are violations of the laws of nature, but I would like to know more. Also, any sources would be great.
