Yes there is a God chance, but a couple of points:
1. We don't accept Jesus he is the one who accepts us we receive Jesus. By saying that we accept him it implies that he needs us and he doesn't. But he does want us.
2. Does sin in your life make you feel sick? when some tells you I don't think you should do that, that is a sin do you say 'get lost it's not sin' or do you say 'I didn't know that I will look into and try to stop it'. the Bible says "if you continue to sin you are of the Devil" God hates sin and so should you.
3. Are you growing in holiness? Is God the most important part of your life? Being born again is does not mean that you are instantly perfect. But you should be striving to remove sin from your life and to become more like Jesus.
4. It is great that you mentioned repentance so many people leave that out. They seam to forget when they tell the 'Good news' that there must be some bad news. Jesus said 'unless you repent you shale likewise perish' and to add emphasis he said it again a few lines later. In fact we are called to repent many times in the Bible.
5. Northstar who wrote above has a great point. We are not saved by works but through grace. we can never repay for the sins we have committed by doing good works. Some one has to pay the price for what we have done wrong and Jesus did that for us.

Yes there is. But please understand that you don't earn your way into heaven with good works. If that was the case, then Jesus died needlessly. He died on the cross for our sins because we could not live perfect lives before God and earn our way in. A changed life is evidence that a person is saved. But it does not earn their way into heaven. We are not saved by deeds which we have done in righteousness but according to God's mercy.

Absolutely... if you sincerely repented of your sins and made Jesus the One in charge of your life... It takes faith to believe. And then it takes living a life of faithfulness to God. You must maintain it.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
- John 3:16
Yes, ANYONE who believes will have eternal life. You have no need to doubt that -- it is promised over and over again in the Bible. He will forgive your sins and bring you into His heavenly kingdom. God bless!
