Think about it. They always complain that there so "persecuted" and "opressed" in america when there not since there the majority. So thats delusions of persecution right there.

They think there so important when there no special than the other 100's of billions of people that have existed and will exist. So thats delusions of grandeur right there.

They think they hear "god" (even though theres no god). So thats hallucinations right there.

Why are they not in institutions is the question?

Their mind is conditioned by ignorance. They are to be rescued from the Church and the series of disbelieves pumped into their minds over the centuries by unreformed Church.

From a pop culture standpoint, your post sounds like it makes some sense. However, from an academic standpoint, philosophers have been tackling this question throughout time. The consensus today is that belief in God is just as rational as non-belief in God. The institutions are in question, the debate continues, and at the present time philosophers have decided that religious belief is rational. Look up Alvin Plantinga. He is the world's leading theist. Good luck

No! There are many wonderful, intelligent, open minded Christians. Do not judge a whole religion on the absurdity of the fundamentalists fanatics. The fanatics are in the minority. Not on here, but in life.

i think the NOFX song "i'm going to hell for this one" sums it up nicely:

Jesus Christ will resurrect
He's got his BMI royalty to collect
He's not the white fragile hippie
He looks and acts more like an indignant ICE-T
Jesus Christ is coming back
He wants to kick Mel Gibson's ***
Superstar, The Passion of
He wants his money, not your love

He's been kickin' 2000 years
He's fixed a lot of sports
and drank a million beers
Some ecstasy, a thin white line
He says designer drugs beat the hell out of wine

Jesus Christ on vacation
Spreading mass sacreligion
"Sex and drugs, we abstain"
He thinks Christians are insane
They don't know love,
they know fear and moral hauteur
Scare tactics I never taught
"If you're gonna look to me,
better get rose colored shades,
Cuz what you see is what you get"

Ok if you’re going to express your opinion about Christians can’t you do it in a less offensive way? I think you’re just trying to get a “rise” out of people so they write for your question. Debate your views don’t bigot them!!!

So what you're saying is that anyone who thinks, talks, looks, acts, etc. different than you do is a complete moron?

Maybe you could use some mental therapy yourself.
