Check out the historical accuracy of the Babylonian captivityor the Assyrian captivity. Check out the rulers mentioned and the time periods in which they reigned. The Bible is accurate. The book of Isaiah was written 700 years or so before Christ and speaks of the earth as being a circle ( Isaiah 40 : 22 ) or how did Job know that the earth is suspended over nothing ( Job 26 : 7). If only the early explorers like Columbus had read their Bibles, they wouldn't have had to worry about falling off the edge of the earth as they thought the earth was flat. How could Job have known the earth was a circle other than because this book we call the Bible is indeed what it says it is; the word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit ( 2 Timothy 3 : 16 )and given through men.

I would say not a good response. You have really not responded to the numerous errors and contradictions contained in the bible. The bible as any kind of history book is seriously lacking any credibility.

Not really because more innaccuracies can be found on almost every page...

Genetic research now has proven that it is impossible for the current population of humans to be all decended from one man and one woman(as genesis implies)... population bottleneck would have occured and humans would now be extinct. This is just one of many fallacies in the bible. Now despite certain historical accuracies about events that were occuring the time the bible was written, all of the accounts of the time before were incredibly innaccurate, there was no flood, no possible way to fit 2 of each animal and all they would need to eat on a boat even if there had been a flood. If it was true that god flooded the earth then all the creatures that couldnt fit on the ark would now be extinct. In any case scientific study has proved the mass flood at the time reported in the bible did not occur. It is obviously a fictional account of events that never transpired. Not to mention the lack of any reference to dinosaurs which they did not know about because they had not found the scientific evidence, saying the earth is a circle is also not the same as saying its a 3 dimensional sphere. How do you know that the reference didnt imply the earth was a flat circle???

Oh how wrong can you be? Columbus obviously didn't think the earth was flat, or he would not have set sail. He KNEW it was a globe, as did the Greeks. The "flat earth" view has never been a runner.

You do not need a god to tell you the world is round, just a pair of eyes. you have still proved nothing.
