Either the muslims don't recognize that, (in which case they should read the part of genesis about Abraham's sons Isaiah and ishmael, isaiah being the metaphor for christianity and judaeism, and ishmael standing for muslim)
or middle eastern politicians are using religon as a poor excuse to attack israel and america.
this has been prophecised in the old testament before this middle-eastern "war" started:
(Genesis 16 verses 11-12, in which an angel is talking to Hagar) And the angel also said, "you are now pregnant and will give birth to a son. You are to name him Ishmael (which means "god hears"), for the lord has heard your cry of distress. This son of yours will be a wild man, as untamed as a donkey! he will raise his fist against everyone, and everyone against him. Yes, he will live in open hostility against all of his neighbors."

Rev Kip - The moon God, WTF? and also you're a non secular chief? Explains plenty about the mind-set of diverse Christians accessible... *Shakes Head* Do you no longer do not ignore that Muslims (and many Jews) hint the origins of Islam decrease back to the first baby of Abraham, who God also reported may the be the daddy of a astounding human beings? So do you carry it adverse to Jesus that his moms and dads weren't christian? because that Mohammed depending the religion, of route he became born right into a special one. and those loopy reference you made about the pagan daughters he allegedly worshiped, you want to study slightly extra. Mohommed really denouced all scripture related to them as "The Satanic Verses" and reported such beliefs had no position in a monotheistic relgion. anyhow, on to answering the question. save in thoughts, I talk of the wider Christian mind-set, and by no skill the quite faith itself which preaches tolerance of others... Christianity hasn't ever loved different religions. to contain Judaism. everybody remember the Inquisition? Or the very shown truth that Pope John Paul II admitted that the church bore some responsibility for the holocaust because of it really is intolerence of Jews? Ever heard the age previous tale that we use the blood of a christian risk free to make our passover matzah? Christians opt to piggy decrease backtrack of our faith so that they have got a love hate relationship with us, yet common won't be able to denounce us because they did borrow our God and by no skill any opposite direction round. The instantly out hate for Muslims comes from the very shown truth that at the same time as Jews only opt to get with this technique, Islam became formed after the lack of life and hoopla of Jesus. we do not opt to grandfather clause him in, yet they outright rejected him. Oh, that and Christians look an intollerant lot because it truly is (a lot to Jesus's chagrin, i'm confident).

It has to do with what they do with Christ.
The Jews believe the messiah has not yet come, and that Jesus was a fraud.
The Christians believe Jesus was the messiah, and that he also was the Son of God, that He was with God before the foundation of the earth. They believe that Jesus was and is deity.
The Muslims believe that Jesus was a prophet, but Muhammad was a more recent prophet, so he should have a fresher message from God.
They do not believe that Jesus was deity, but they do believe that he will return. WOW

Jews and Muslims have a history of living side by side in peace.
Christians are the ones who have stirred up all the trouble between all three of them.
We do all worship the same G-d. But, Christians worship Jesus as G-d. Jews and Muslims worship only the One G-d. There is no G-d but G-d. So, they do not believe in the same concept of G-d. Jews and Muslims would always say there is but One G-d.

Actually these three religions dont believe in the same god. Jews or Judaism they think of "yahweh" as their god and they believe in the Torah. Then in Christianity, first of all it is broken up into many different types, but they believe in christ himself. and they go by the bible, the old and the new testemant. Then Musilms they dont neccesairly believe in christ himself. They worship "allah" and the holy book quran which was dictated to the prophet Muhammed supposedly by christ after his death. So they dont belive in the same god and there are many differences. Still this shouldn't really be a reson for them not to get a long. But they dont and the world still hasnt figured out how to stop these racial disputes.
i think that answers ur question...but many ppl could debate this issue.

Invitation to All Believers
[3:64] Say, "O followers of the scripture, let us come to a logical agreement between us and you: that we shall not worship except GOD; that we never set up any idols besides Him, nor set up any human beings as lords beside GOD." If they turn away, say, "Bear witness that we are submitters."
[3:65] O followers of the scripture, why do you argue about Abraham, when the Torah and the Gospel were not revealed until after him? Do you not understand?
[3:66] You have argued about things you knew; why do you argue about things you do not know? GOD knows, while you do not know.
[3:67] Abraham was neither Jewish, nor Christian; he was a monotheist submitter. He never was an idol worshiper.
[3:68] The people most worthy of Abraham are those who followed him, and this prophet, and those who believe. GOD is the Lord and Master of the believers.
[3:69] Some followers of the scripture wish to lead you astray, but they only lead themselves astray, without perceiving.
[3:70] O followers of the scripture, why do you reject these revelations of GOD though you bear witness (that this is the truth)?
[3:71] O followers of the scripture, why do you confound the truth with falsehood, and conceal the truth, knowingly?
[3:72] Some followers of the scripture say, "Believe in what was sent down to the believers in the morning, and reject it in the evening; maybe someday they will revert.
[3:73] "And do not believe except as those who follow your religion." Say, "The true guidance is GOD's guidance." If they claim that they have the same guidance, or argue with you about your Lord, say, "All grace is in GOD's hand; He bestows it upon whomever He wills." GOD is Bounteous, Omniscient.
[3:74] He specifies His mercy for whomever He wills; GOD possesses unlimited grace.

Got me there, I have been wondering that myself. Take it one step further, Why are the Shiia and Sunni fighting? Roman Catholics and Lutherans The list is endless, go read the book for yourself and make your own determination, not what some religious leader says. Example the nutball church that shows up at military funerals to say people in uniform are maimed or killed because we allow gays and lesbians
Go check out WWW.caniknow.com, if we all listened to this Realtor things would be a lot different
