ANSWER A FOOL according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own eyes" (Proverbs 26:4,5)

Shouldn't everyone no matter what beliefs they have ignore questions meant to demean them?? It isnt just christians being demeaned on here. I report any questions or answers that demean anyone on here, including christians, athiests, muslims, catholics etc. It is wrong for others to demean others no matter what. If we all ignore it and report it then we will make a difference.

I like challenging questions.
I usually ignore the dumb ones.
I answer some of the demeaning questions where I think I have a good helpful response.

The Bible says that we should explain truthfullyabout our faith to anyone who demands the reason for our faith and to do this with mildness and respect, this is what I try to do, respectfully tell people who ask this of me(1Peter3:15), yet with respect not by demeaning them in return or Judging them, I know at times I may have been a little raw in my answers either in jest or with my reasoning but my objective is not to demean even those who may be demeaning to begin with, but I do try to treat everyone with respect and decency that I wish for myself even if my humor at times also may be taken in a varied way to what I have meant it to sound So I answer all the questions that I can answer respectfully, I don't answer the ones that I cannot answer either respectfully or in the right knowledge nor do I ignore any that I can answer capably to explain my knowledge about what the subject may be, so I treat every question with respect and dignity that God want's me to, because God desires for all humans to know the truth about him and since he has honoured me with his truth I thereforehave a responsibility to let others get to know it, but of course, people will only know the truth if they really want it, yet not everyone really wants to know the truth rather they may want to find something that may suit them better than the truth might, but that is just my reasoning here!

Maybe. Some questions ARE just asked to wind religious people up (especially on here, lol!).
But on the other hand, it can be easy to perceive a question as being deliberately offensive and ignore it, when in reality someone isn't meaning to demean you.
It's better to respond than ignore, I think--just don't let yourself get wound up!

being that answeringthem most likely will change nothing i would say yes....however if the statement is made in honesty and a correction needs to be made thats a different story. IE there is a difference in falling for a baited question like " can you prove god is real" and answering a question about false doctrine or unbiblical teachings

No we should not because we are called to forgive our enemies
and to spread the Love of Jesus, to even those who don't believe.
in the hope that our enemies may repent and come in to the light
no matter what they say or do to us.
May the Spirit of Jesus fill you and your family with his Joy,Peace and Love this Christmas and all the year thought
Merry Christmas

Apparently, anything that is the least little bit challenging to them is "demeaning".
So, yes...I guess they should ignore them.
Ignorance is bliss.

There is a verse saying that those who keep company to those who slander God's name are nothing better than them.
Makes us think, huh?
