entire families leaving them alone, homeless and starving. (God either created EVERYTHING or didn’t. God also created Satan and he is supposedly all knowing/all powerful and knew when he created Satan what would happen.) Then god tells us we’re born evil, sinners and are lucky to have him which is blatant psychological abuse, like an abusive husband who tells his wife that she’s worthless and lucky to have him. Then our loving father tells us that all the sexual desires he created in us are sinful and we better not even think about having sex deemed unacceptable in the bible(Jesus says thinking about it is a sin). You better keep your sinful, naughty penis in your pants! God always watches us (in your mind all the time) and if you don’t worship him (i.e.: grovel) and believe in him than you WILL burn in hell no matter how good a person you are. Overbearing? . . . And at the end of the day, Christians thank him for his “mercy”. Healthy? Is he a nice god?

This was stated by Rep. Katherine Harris as she was running for Senate in Florida this year.

Incidentally, she lost the election (earning only 38% of the vote).

God stands by me unconditionally the way I stand by him.
I have not found another on earth..... unconditionally.

If not, does that person's personality radically change in the afterlife? What if the reason he or she rejected Jesus is related to that brain injury?

Felsic rocks like Granite form from high viscosity (thick, with a high silicone volume) magma deep within the earth. The slow cooling of these rock masifests a large crystal structure that you can see in Granites today.
These rocks take millions of years to solidify and cool and many more millions of years of erosion and Orogenis are required to bring them to the surface so they can be handled and used as building materials today.
If the earth was only 6-10 thousand years old the heat from all the Granite alone would turn all the water on the surface of the earth to steam.
How do you explain this?

I'm sorry, but it is people like pkstn pride (who previously asked a VERY offensive question) who spread all the hate in the world. Why are people so intolerant of others? Why do people think it's okay to insult other people's religious beliefs or cultural backgrounds? Aren't we entitled to our own beliefs? How can you expect me to respect your religion if you refuse to respect mine?

If your faith teaches that the Bible was inspired, why is the process of that inspiration not taught in Sunday School?

Why are people not taught the the agony over the inclusion/rejection of the books of the Apocrypha? Why is it not discussed that the Bibles used by the Protestant churches, Roman Catholic Church, and Eastern Orthodox Church are different?

Why is there seldom a discussion of the revolving door regarding the books of Hebrews, James, Jude and Revelation? (Each variously included and excluded for centuries.)

Why is it almost no Christians are aware that the books in the Bible were not settled upon until after Columbus had returned to Europe from the New World...for the fourth time? (In other words, the bible referred to before 1500 was not the book on your shelf or the back of your pew.)

Does such discussion open the faith to too much doubt regarding the Bible's reliability?
