I'm an atheist, so of course I think positively of it. But that doesn't mean I necessarily think negatively of theists. My only problem with theists is when they refuse to incorporate hard evidence into their world view. Fundamentalists who insist the Bible is literally true and deny science are delusional. That is a shame and I feel sorry for them, but could even ignore that if they didn't try to impose their beliefs on everyone else. That must be resisted.

I have no particular view of it, although many of my favorite philosophers, artists, poets, and musicians have been atheist. I enjoy the works of Nietzsche, Sartre, Camus, Richard Rorty, Fairfield Porter, etc.

It's the belief I was born with. Some people tried to persuade me away from it when I was a kid but I fought them off, and it still seems the only possible intellectual possibility.

I respect everyone's right to choose their own religion. I do think that athiests are often choosing to claim they dont beleive that way they can do what they want to do without being accountable and having to answer for it.

However..... big surprise...every knee shall bow and tongue confess.... there will be a day of accountability even if you claim to not beleive.

Further.... watch them pray like crazy when someone has a gun to their head and their life is at stake. hahahahah

Cheers

Atheists are the ones who think outside the box, the ones who don't swallow everything they're told but who use their heads and reason things out. No atheist could ever, would ever buy a story as silly as Noah's Ark.

It sucks. It must be a sad and empty life not feeling the fulfillment of God. Oh well.. they'll all know the truth when they die.

Atheists are just people. Some of them are good, others aren't so good.

I can say that the majority of atheists are very intelligent people though who do know their Biblical history. =)

I think its great. I'm Wiccan but tend to argue on the Atheists side because I understand where they're coming from and they make sense. And they don't try to force me not to believe in Wicca. They have just as much problem with Christians as I do.
