Why would "bad people" go to hell. Isn't there a great war supposed to happen and wouldn't Satan want people "He" could trust fighting for him. Not a bunch of slaves that he has tourtered and burned for millions of years?

Suppose you let Jesus in your heart, but all your loved once didn't. Which means they'll burn in Hell forever.

At that gate of Heaven, can you refuse to go inside, simply because you prefer being with your loved ones?

hypothetically speaking... if a man were to be shirtless on t.v. that might tempt a woman into lust or if a man and a woman kiss on t.v. that might tempt one aswell...does this mean the actors are commiting sin?

If God did not intend for us to go to Heaven, then why did Jesus say "repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is near" (Mat. 4:17) and "great is your reward in Heaven" (Mat. 5:12) and "whoever practices these commands will he called great in the Kingdom of Heaven" (Mat. 5:19) and "store up for yourselves treasures in Heaven" (Mat. 6:20) etc. (there are many more).

How many of you have come across persons ....not of your own faith .... who were more humane.....loving....realistic ....kind....

and wondered.....Does Christianity really mean anything in the end? Does Religion matter? Is religion hurting me and preventing me from revealing my true self?

Would you care to join me in a religious prayer...not Christian in any sense ...but peaceful ....alll the way.........

It seems like with the Christian belief system, when a loved one dies, you'll only miss each other for a few years before an ultimate reunion. So why then are Christians every but as distraught as us atheists when loved ones die?

Last year my dad died. He didn't believe in God, neither do I According to Christian belief my dad is in Hell now.

If at some point in my life I would convert, and let Jesus in my heart...would I get punished for that by never seeing my dad again?

Our religions all pretty much preach for the good and betterment of human kind. If this is so, why can we choose to bicker when there are so many problems in the world?

There are people being TORTURED and TRAFFICKED. There are people who are STARVING and HOMELESS and SICK not only in your *own* country, but, the ENTIRE WORLD. People... there are PEOPLE out there... DYING. Wake up, world. Wake. Up.

There are children who are not only homeless, but, family-less. Genuine, innocent beings who need love and care, who were left behind by their families for one reason or another.

Worst of all, all of those things are killing people... a lot of people.

How would you feel if you were one of those people? Without a hope in the world, feeling left behind by everybody? People are too busy fighting amongst each other to help... but, most ridiculously, over religion?

This Winter Season, I have only one request for you all: Put away your differences and help someone truly in need.

I am really just looking for practice and and for someone to assess my readings. Although I am pagan, I do not believe in the cards as a divine tool, rather I believe them to be tools for the person receiving the reading to open his or her mind to new possibilities. I enjoy helping others analyze and work through a situation.
