Do you believe it is possible that God created humans, but now sees us a failed experiment not worth saving, and has turned his back on us ("us" being humans)?

That's an old belief. It comes from the unbelieving world of people. You probably asked not because it's an academic question but for some reason you've been thinking. The answer is, He is silent. Only for now. Til an appointed time. The whole world knows this as well, by the way. You're the only one I've heard voice it just this way. I don't think it hurts anything or countermands anything if I give you a response to what everyone else already knows.

Have we forsaken God, turning our backs on him? Telling him that he no longer exists, that we don't believe in him anymore. We don't need God in our lives that we can do just fine without him?
Thinking that we have become so smart that the thought of God is now beneath us. No more time in our lives for a Creator? Has God turned his back on us or have we turned our backs on God?
I believe that we have turned our backs on God and feel that we don't need him anymore. We have forsaken him because we think we have growen beyond needing him.
The salvation is still the same, that hasn't changed. We have changed and now we think that we are too good for God. How will a Holy God view that and how will he view us?
